Story

Good Catch Boil House is a Louisiana-inspired seafood restaurant and sports bar with a Cajun fusion twist. The menu offers a variety of traditional and innovative dishes ranging from gumbo and seafood boils to Cajun seafood fried rice and lobster nachos.

Inspired by the South, customizable seafood boil combinations in a Cajun-style blend of spices are served by the pound. Diners choose from six mouthwatering flavours (Cajun, Garlic Butter, Szechuan, Curry, Lemon Pepper or Good Catch Blend) and can challenge their taste buds based on spice tolerance.

While the seafood boil might be the main draw, it is not to be overshadowed by the variety of gourmet pub fare, raw bar options, daily specials and 18 draft lines of Ontario craft beer available.

With something on the menu for everyone, Good Catch Boil House captures the interest of millennials and baby boomers alike. It's been a project more than two years in the making involving the cumulative efforts of a 50-person research team making multiple visits to the south as well as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Hands down great seafood! I came here with my wife and a group of friends for lunch and we had no complaints. The staff were very accommodating and helpful since we also had our baby daughter with us. 
The food itself was amazing. We ended up ordering the beef poke bowl and the soft shell crab sandwich and both were delicious. The soft shell crab sandwich comes with a Caesar salad and fries and the soft shell crab itself is nicely fried and very tasty. It also comes with a mango salsa type sauce on the crab that paired quite nicely. My wife's poke bowl was also nicely done, the beef was a medium rare and the recommended grape fruit sauce for it accented the dish well. 
Overall we have to come again to try out more of their menu.

Pretty good of a catch for sure. Good staff for sure. Good late night deal for wings and some seafood. All the food was good to try. Drinks have lots of variety as well. Heavy on the deep fried side though so it's filling or hard to eat a lot of. The wings are super huge,  both sauces are good to try. The Good Catch sauce for the mussels were our favourite. Cool to try craft beers for cheap.

Was not impressed. Came here for lunch during the week and was disappointed in both the food and service. Service was  slow even though the restaurant was not busy, our order was mixed up twice where appetizers ordered were not received and where incorrect drinks were brought to the table. This is all confusing as the server was taking our order through a tablet.  The food itself was okay. Most items were deep fried and overcooked. Usually the calamari should still be tender but the order we received was dried out and  tough. The poke was not very generous as compared to places in the downtown core. Not much fish and other toppings. I really wanted to like this place as the reviews have been so good but both service and food were lacking.

caught me out of guard to have such great tasting food there. Mussel size is larger than average dipped in fantastic lemon pepper sauce. Wings are huge (not breaded) and fried just right. I'd definitely check out this place again.

I have been looking to try good catch out for a long time. Was so happy that there was a boil house opened up in this part of markham area. And this week, I finally had the chance to go. Although, I did a takeout order, stepping in to the place was really nice. I was acknowledged by the girl working there and there are a few options I really wanted to choose. I went with the lobster roll hot with butter. Amazing!! Loved it so much. Lots of lobster and cooked to perfection.  Can’t wait to go back again and try the fried oyster basket.
