INITIUM derives from Latin context implying birth and origin. In fall 2007, a group of young, highly talented and enthusiastic individuals took to the inception of this revolutionary hair salon. Answering to the Markham area, INITIUM has established itself as a pioneer for innovative designs and classically original styles.

Similar to seasonal change, conceptualizing new ways to make the overall customer experience outstanding has become a crucial part of our journey. We are extremely proud to present a new facet on the INITIUM experience, a unique premium latte café. From the finely selected coffee beans to its trendy setting, INITIUM has infused an exciting barista bar into its already extraordinary styling salon.

Came for a quick coffee break with the fiance just a little after 5pm. It was our first time here even though we pass by all the time. The service was great and our lattes were on point. We got a green tea latte and black sesame latte. Both were great but we both felt the green tea latte was better. It was pretty flavorful and I was quite content that the milk did not overpower the green tea. It was definitely made better than Starbucks. I was a bit disappointed the cotton candy machine was down, so I couldn't try their cotton candy latte. I guess I'll be back soon for it, maybe with my laptop too. It felt like a great spot to get some work done.

The server was very friendly and helped describe the menu to us. Unfortunately their oven was broken so we couldn't order most of the food items on their menu but we were able to get the onion rings which was a nice snack. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the servers let you chill without rushing you.

I love this place.  Not only can you get a latte with your face on it but you can also get a haircut.   The staff is super nice which makes it so much better and price wise it's very reasonable.  The drinks are also super yummy.  My friend loves the peanut butter chocolate latte.

Walked in and kinda had to serve ourselves but other than that the coffee was amazing. Latte was super cute with their different designs
If there was actually service I would give a better rating

Good place to get a haircut.  All stylists are skilled and accomodating.  Friendly staff.  There is a lounge/cafe/bar next door,  connected to the hair saloon.  I believe they sell food there also but Ive never tried it.
