MEC Barrie

Mec is a wonderful outdoor store. I shop mainly for cycling accessories. They have a full service shop and the best selection of parts accessories and tools I've ever seen. They got a dog zone outside for water and shelter here in Barrie. There is a air pump outside too. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. I ride fat bike and road.

This upscale outdoor sporting goods supplier has a wide range of quality products at competitive prices. Winter coats, snow ski, hiking, cycling and camping merchandise are prominent. For drivers the location is very convenient with tons of free parking.

Good MEC location, though not quite as big a selection as the big store in Toronto has. Staff have always been friendly and helpful in my various visits.

The staff are great. I had a slight issue with the product that was sent to me through a web order. Brian these guys they got the powder squared away in a few minutes while I wander around the store and look at stuff. Really well done. And the staff are super super friendly

Staff could not have cared less. Called ahead to ensure they had a difficult to find pair of shoes in my size, drove down from newmarket after confirming, and by the time I drove down the shoes mysteriously vanished. Staff didnt care at all about the situation and would rather go back to talking among themselves than order the shoes. Very glad I didn't buy yet another pair of climbing shoes at a store that clearly doesn't want my money anymore.
