I have been shopping at this store for years!! I am a 38 year old contractor, who was in todays shopping for nuts and bolts, one of the employees bob from hardware decided it was appropriate to stand and stare at me for a solid 3 minutes before I asked “can I help you?” He told me he was there to help customers, but was making me feel extremely uncomfortable! I called the store to speak with the manager Rebecca, who didn’t seem to really at all care bout my call and even seemed bothered I was calling.. she also informed me this is lost prevention! Suggesting I may be stealing I guess!! This is totally unacceptable, in what world is staring at strangers at all appropriate or acceptable! Very very disappointed with the employees there today! What a shame to think this is acceptable, I will be reaching out to corporate
Can be hit and miss. Great selection. Overall. Good prices. Sometimes it's hard to find staff to assist you. I bought a lot of things over the years as I've renovated two homes extensively using products bought from the store and Ialso did a kitchen remodel with them as well overall staff were good to deal with that. I was able to get the products within the required amount of time even during the pandemic and supply chain issues
Great management and customer service! I've had the pleasure of dealing with Mike H the store manager. After purchasing an Ariens mower that broke after three mows, and finding Ariens Customer Service unresponsive and the service vendor waiting for almost two months for a part from Ariens, I reached out to Rona. Mike and the Rona Team stepped up to help and provided me a small credit to help offset some of my costs, even though the repair was out of his hands. Thanks Mike for stepping up, when no one else did! That gesture made Rona feel like the local neighbourhood hardware store, and not like a large chain!
Delivery team delivered the wrong item twice but Jayden & Dylan resolved my concern and made me a happy shopper. I am from Toronto. I definitely will come back because Mercedes & Sam, lady at Rona assisted me further on buying items for my house.
Great customer service. I purchased a storm door and had them install it. Francesco came to install it. He was absolutely amazing. He was on time, efficient, and experienced. He had it installed in no time. I am so happy with my purchase, customer service, installation, and overall experience.
