Story

Originally opened as Blue Beetle Comics in 2002, BBC2 as it’s affectionately known has been part of the Big B Family since 2008. A perfect stop on the way to cottage country, Big B Barrie has you covered for all your reading and collecting needs. Alice-ann and her crew of comic experts have made it their personal mission to be the best comic store Simcoe County has ever seen. We think you’ll find they’re up to the task!

Knowledgeable, helpful staff. Good selection of new releases, back issues, and trades. Staff are always on point with suggesting other things I might like based on what I'm reading. Easy and free to set up pull lists, and convenient email notifications when pulls arrive. These folks are the best.

EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff for the serious collector, reasonable prices, and high quality, Would DEFINITELY recommend this store to both the serious collector, kids, and new converts to the world of comics. Nothing but positive experiences for me, and all of the staff are very friendly, approachable, and will spend time with you answering all your questions. It's a popular spot for comic book enthusiasts, so bear with them while they cater to everyone! All in - 5 stars for selection, prices, customer service, and just being friendly and approachable!

I f***ing love this store. The staff are friendly and they usually have everything I am looking for. The only thing they don't have are the rare statues and comics that I am just to slow to get due to funds. They have the best pull box systems around unlike so many of their other competitors.

When I lived in Bradford I got a TPB here that had a misprint. I called ahead to let them know I was coming from Bradford to do an exchange, because I knew I'd be there close to closing time. I spoke with the manager, yet when I got there before closing time he was in the process of closing up early. Door was locked, lights were off. He saw me at the door and told me sorry, we're closed. He knew my situation, yet wasn't accommodating. It's really put me off from ever buying here. They do have a decent selection of discounted pre-owned books, so I'll give them more than 1 star.

Very helpful and conveniently located right off the 400, easy for a quick stop on my trip to and from cottage country!!!
