When I bought my car in 2014, the dealership was owned by Ocean Subaru. When it came time for service recently, I was at first disappointed to learn of the change in ownership. But at that first visit, I was impressed with the McGovern staff, especially my service advisor, Clyde Board, and the same was true again today, when I returned to get one of the rear door locks repaired.  

Both times, Clyde was wonderful to work with--capable, attentive, and thorough. Both appointments started with him going with me to my car so he could see firsthand what my concerns were. Then, while the car was being serviced, he kept me up to date on the progress of the service/repair and estimated when the car would be ready. 

Before these two visits, I'd been seriously considering switching to a local mechanic, mostly because he's 3 minutes from home vs 30 (plus there would be no tolls). But I'm so happy with McGovern that I will definitely stick with them.

Good experience all-around with buying a used car.  I'd do it all over again.

Update:  Day two of ownership with this car has left me with a dead battery.  I'm not sure if the Alternator is to blame or if the old battery was on its way out or if I left the dome light on overnight?  To be continued.....

   I replaced the battery and checked the Alternator.  All is back to normal. It was my fault for killing the battery by leaving the dome light on overnight.

I bought my 2017 Forester from McGovern after the VW diesel scandal. The trying and buying process was easy and easy-going. When making my appointment and bringing my vehicle in for service, the staff are kind and courteous. The work is done well the first time. They bring any issues needing attention to the customer before the appointment is over. The facilities have undergone some improvements recently, and they are always clean and welcoming. Would readily recommend this Subaru dealership to others.

Wonderful experience right from the start they were the only dealership that actually gave me an e-price when I asked for one. once we went into the door they had the two vehicles we were interested in ready for us to try. I told them the cost we could do, what my payments needed to be and they worked everything  with me. There was no haggling about the price, no Dickering back and forth great experience! Has to be the best car buying experience we have had!!!

I've recent opportunity to request information from the service department that wasn't easy to access and time consuming for the service tech (Clyde Board IV).  My company has used the service department at this location more than once and the information I requested was done quickly and professionally.  I found them to be very helpful, and considerate and I would definitely recommend the service department here to anyone looking for knowledgeable staff who is more than happy to put the customer first.
