Mayfair Theatre

We rented the whole theater for a double bill for free public screening. The whole experience has been nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend any movie buff in the city check it out if they haven't already. Always some cult classics are going on and if that's not your taste you will find something to your liking

Definitely not your modern chic movie theatre. This is one of the oldest theatres converted to cinema. Chairs are red velvet cushioned … thick.nSome uneven heights and width in the cinema. But it is part of history.

Great spot for old school movies. They also do a once per month all you can eat cereal bar with 90's/80's cartoons playing all morning, go in your PJ's and have a great time. Couches are limited so if you want to be extra cozy get there early, bring a blanket and cozy up to your partner for a home movie experience!

love this place, can't talk about it enough honestly. beautiful theatre, and fair price for tickets. watching rocky horror here was unforgettable.

Amazing ambience and shows a tonne of classic films as well as art and lower budget films that might go under your radar if you stuck to huge franchised theatres. Literally the best environment to watch a movie in! Reasonably priced especially if you buy a membership! Makes for an amazing and easy date night paired with drinks at House of Targ which is right across the street. I cannot recommend visiting this piece of Ottawa history enough. It's my favorite place on earth.
