Our hockey group rented out the entire theatre to watch the gold medal Olympic men's hockey game, and the whole experience was amazing.

I've been going to the Mayfair Theatre ever since I was young and--even to this day--always come back whenever I feel like seeing a movie. The tickets are very affordable and they're always screening a unique, diverse selection of films. They also update their social media very often and maintain their website frequently, so it's very easy to keep up with their screening schedule.nnI will have to admit, however, that the entrance is a bit small most likely a result of the theatre being built a long time ago. I have a slight mobility issue, so the entrance *can* be a bit cramped; especially for screenings of popular films when there might be a lot of people.

Charming historic theatre. Seats are not super supportive so be wary if you have back issues. Delicious popcorn that always tastes slightly burnt but so yummy! Friendly staff.

We rented the whole theater for a double bill for free public screening. The whole experience has been nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend any movie buff in the city check it out if they haven't already. Always some cult classics are going on and if that's not your taste you will find something to your liking
