I absolutely love going here in the summertime. They have lots of space for so many cars. I'm happy they went back to 2 movies per night! I only wish the season could be longer into September. Also buying bug screens from the dollar store for your windows is a must for a truly enjoyable experience.
I absolutely love this place...hope it never goes out of business! The price is quite reasonable for 2 movies... usually 2 pretty decent movies too! They even have a canteen that offers snacks like your indoor theatre. 2 screens to choose from, 1 offering movies in French and the other offering the movies in English. Make sure to bring your bug spray, blankets and pillows for the best evening EVER!!!
Great place! Two movies for a great price. There's a snack shack but you can also bring your own snacks which is the best part. It can get pretty hot in the car so if you do open your windows bring fish netting to cover the window so the mosquitoes don't go in. Use magnets or tape to secure it in place. This way you can breath and not be bitten by the bugs.
Great place to take your kids. I went here as a kid and it was really nostalgic and sometimes made me actually cry when I was growing cause we stopped going there after we moved and my parents got divorced... For some reason this place goes really well with the song “nah nah honey I’m good”. If you came here as a kid, do you remember eating snacks in the backseat exploring behind and playing with the burrs? Food is good, line could be shorter, but overall amazing.
I haven't been to a drive-in since the 90's. It was fun even if this time the kids slept through the second movie in sleeping bags in the back and we didn't get home until almost 2am. View was good. Sound radio was good. Bugs were few -- many cars had screens taped over windows. Ask Google "what time is dusk" for showtime but don't wait too long after the gate opens or you'll be far away from the screen, at least on a nice summer Saturday night.
I took my wife and daughter, we bought one bag popcorn, 4 hot dogs and a french fries. Every thing together including admission was around 70.00. That is a bit much for what you get in return. Otherwise it was a fun time.
Great experience! Put a mosquito net on the back of our SUV, looked like a popular option as a lot of people did that. Great price for a more unique movie experience! We'll be going again
One of the few left in the area. Two screens, double features on both. French and English. It's worth it just to go to the retro concession stand. Grassish parking area. So not a total parking lot. Tuesday I think is $20 for a car load. 10-15 minutes from Ottawa. Why are you still reading this... go there now. Like, right now.
Definitely not the best way to see a movie, but it doesn't matter cause the drive in is just fun. Nice place not too far out of Ottawa and has some food options if you're hungry. The bugs get bad so be prepared for that.
I used to love going to this place. I would have given a higher ranking however, at the start of the 2018 summer season, they switched from 2 films per screen to 1 film per screen keep in mind this place is in Quebec, therefore one screen is French and the other screen is English Must not be doing well in sales for them to cut down on movies per summer. At least lower the price of admission if you're not going to show 2 films anymore. Can't imagine this place will be open for much longer after making this terrible mistake. What makes matters worse, its the same price as going to a theatre. If you're going to pay $12+ you might as well sit in a comfortable reclining chair in the theatre rather than in a car while being bit by mosquitos. If you're derermined to go to a drive-in, head over to Port Elmsley Drive-In 333 Port Elmsley Rd, Perth, Ontario. Unlike Cine-Parc, they're still showing 2 films per night.
