Cineplex Cinemas Ottawa

Among the mainstream movie theatres in Ottawa, this is the one I like to go to the most. As a father of three young kids, I find that this cinema consistently has a good selection of family-friendly movies, while the reclining seats are very comfortable. The concession stands and arcade are also very good. Definitely plan to come back.

I miss when theaters had trays for food. Bit this one is perfectly serviceable. The seats are comfortable, the service is fast, the projection work is good, and it's only a small pain to buy a ticket from an actual person instead of the abundant ticketing machines. The hole in the nearby fence even provides expedited pedestrian access for the nearby apartments, which is a welcome touch of urban design in an otherwise overly car-centric area.

Tried the Screen X for the first time. I absolutely loved it. The entire walls to the right and left of you are screens during certain action sequences. I've always enjoyed the Coliseum but now with this new theatre it's amazing. Landmark was starting to get my business but that idea made me enjoy the mediocre movie I saw that much more. They need to have all movies like that.

A nice and clean cinema. The reclining chairs were comfy and they do recline a lot, at least more than the VIP chairs in TD Place. I have been to cinemas with full reclining chairs that are way bigger and comfier, but not in Canada, so these are the comfiest ones so far.

Cineplex theatres Ottawa offers a fantastic movie-going experience. The theaters are clean and modern, with comfortable seating and great sound and picture quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the concession stands offer a variety of tasty treats. With a wide selection of new releases and special events, Cineplex is the perfect place to escape and enjoy a great film. Highly recommended

I love the reclining seats and the ability to biy wine/beer if you want. I appreciate their strict ID process as well. Are the snacks astronomically expensive? Yrs, but not worse than other theatres.

It was the first time in a movie theater in 3 years. The seats were comfortable. Buying tickets at the theater was simple and you could pick your seats. However if it is a newer release and different time maybe booking on line would be best. I went during a less busy time. Staff were friendly.

Great seats that recline. Very comfortable. We love going to this Cineplex, good service and fairly clean. Was a bit crowded when we left the movie.

I hadn't been to the movies in quite a while and I must say I really like the new seating. Good experience with the kids. Although we used the tickets for the kids that come with a drink popcorn and candy. Would be better to have more options than just the 2 bags of candy that the kids don't like.

Very Very clean , I love the reclining chairs they got. It was awesome overall. One of the better spots for movies in the city. I reccomend it 100%
