Seen the new jurassic park here with my daughter. Good prices. comfy seats. Feels like an exclusive experience compared to the classic cineplex or silver city. I'd go back for sure. The lady working was friendly and professional.
If you missed checking out the latest movies in the theatres, you can watch them here! Imagine plays movies that movie theatres no longer play and play documentaries that movie theatres don’t play. It’s an older theatre, cozy with smaller screens so it gives you a “home” feel. Tickets and concessions are very affordable. I recommend this place if you’re in the St Laurent area!
Great discount theatre. If you don't mind the smaller screens it's worth it to go. The price is right and they have some smaller documentaries aired here as well. Decent prices and a great place to check out movies.
Imagine Cinemas St. Laurent suits most of my movie-watching needs perfectly, the screens are big enough for me, the seats are comfortable enough for me, the price is low enough for me to go even on days that aren't cheap Tuesday without worrying too much about how much is left in my wallet, and, best of all, all the screenings are in 2D. 3D gives me a headache. The downside is that it's a second-run theatre so you generally have to wait a couple of months to watch most big movies but I don't mind waiting a while to watch blockbuster-type movies anyway as I'm averse to opening weekend crowds and I'm not someone bothered by reading spoilers. I've also seen arthouse and even anime films here, so Imagine doesn't just show movies that were in the top 3 of the Box Office Mojo weekend charts 2 or 3 months beforehand. I do miss the mural this theatre had besides the entrance back when it was still Rainbow, but I did have the foresight to have taken a picture of it which I'll post here.
Great place to see a movie on the big screen without paying crazy prices.
You get what you pay for. A good inexpensive option to watch movies that are a little past being a new release. They have upgraded the seats from a few years ago making the movie watching experience here a little more comfortable than it used to be.
I like going here to watch movies while my friends or family shop. Good value.
I LOVE going to Ciné Starz at St. Laurent. Not only are the prices so low and the popcorn delicious and plentiful, but being retired, it is great to be able to see a movie during the day while I am in town to go shopping. I don't have to make a special trip into the city at night. But the BEST thing about the St. Laurent Ciné Starz is the STAFF - they are always welcoming, helpful and efficient. They are also very patient with customers having trouble accessing their vaccination passports, or deciding which yummy food items they prefer. The theater is clean, well-maintained and the COVID protocols are fully in place in the lobby, cinema and bathrooms, so you know you are safe and well taken care of. I always look forward to my trips to Ciné Starz and am never disappointed : Thank you to all the staff for being so wonderful :
I love this theater, even though it changed names 3 times since i started coming here. Popcorn is great. Prices went up significantly because of covid. since the prices keep going up no offense we may as well have to go to another theater with better and more comfortable seats. The seats here arent very comfortable and how are they cleaned if its material and not a leather type thats easier to clean...
Can't beat the price. I'm a senior and on a Tuesday a movie and large popcorn with a refill is $11.00. Must admit though that the seats are not that comfortable so if you have back issues you will be twitchy.
