Masse's Cost

We spent thousands on a Palliser sofa, television stand end table, coffee table and king size mattress. Where do I begin with what went wrong!!! We understandably had to wait approximately 10 weeks for our beautiful Palliser sofa, as it was a custom order. It was a couple of weeks late, which isn't horrible, but I was informed that they had held all our other furniture till then, so they'd only have to make one trip. Delivery day! Couch was flawless, The television stand was also beautiful, all wood and excellent quality. The delivery staff was super courteous and tidy. Before I left, I checked out the new coffee table and realized the left drawer was jammed shut and was askew in its compartment. Upon further inspection, I realized that it was damaged inside. I was annoyed to be told that it would be a couple of months to get another one in. We waited....... and waited...... Finally, the second table arrived at the store, along with one big gash on an otherwise shiny and smooth surface! When I complained to Roger, the owner, he said it was "distressed", LOL! In just that spot! It was not even a distressed piece, the gash was right through the varnish and we were being too fussy! What a joke! Rather than waiting another few months for another piece, we opted to buy an ottoman instead. Enter another few months and the first ottoman arrives with a huge CUT in the leather, likely made by someone opening the package with a box cutter.... on a $1000.00 ottoman! Come on! Roger again tried to downplay the damage and impact this was having on his customers. When I spoke to Roger, he refused to call the manufacturer and ask them for an ETA on replacing the leather on the lid! He said it would be sometime in January! This, for a process that started last spring! It has taken 10 months to fix this and he has offered us NOTHING for our trouble and inconvenience! I will never ever shop at Masse again! If I could rate zero stars, I would!

Great selection of furniture for every room of your home. Pricing is excellent. Lots of onsite parking at rear of store.

Absolutely terrible customer service from Masse Furniture. We purchased a love seat and couch from them at the end of April. It was delivered on May 31st. While the delivery team was bringing it into the house they ripped the fabric on the front of the couch. They took pictures and said they would file a report with the boss. Since then we have called 8 times to speak to the owner. He has been in meetings, just left, not in yet or not there today. We spoke with him three times. He asked for 2 weeks to find someone to repair the couch he would call us in 2 weeks, we had to call back after 3 weeks to see if he found someone he had absolutely no idea what we were talking about, no idea who I was and didn't remember a couch being damaged, he was obviously not 'working on' finding someone to repair the couch. He is still not returning our calls after leaving 4 messages over the last month and a half.

Excellent service, experienced staff and the lower price anywhere including out of town! Shop at home everyone!

Our couch was missing the plastic protectors on the bottom of the back of the frame. As a result our floor was damaged. The manager refused to acknowledge any responsibility. He never even offered to find the missing parts. Fortunately, his staff was good enough to supply replacement protectors. We are left with two gouges in our floor and a very poor impression of Masse Cost +.
