A lovely restaurant in an old church, has a cool vibe and hip interior. Food is great if like one tad more expensive than you would like but the food is high quality and it's downtown so it evens out. Gives you free chips and salsa which is super fresh and good as well lots of their house hot sauce. Drinks are good as well and they certainly don't skimp on the amount. The place is small though so try to get there early to get a table. Parking lots and street parking are generally good and close by as well.

Been there several times and have never been disappointed. The food is moderately priced and always very tasty. Kim the manager still honored my expired gift certificate. I would highly recommend it for dinner.

Built in 1840, the church harbored runaway on their way north to freedom. Carvings left by one passenger discovered during renovations shows the anxiety and hope of those men and women who reached this northerly family. A wealthy family, the Whites, often kicked in railroad tickets. A quick slip on a canal boat could have happened, but I've talked with a historian who has yet to substantiate a case. Count the representations of the Virgin of Guadalupe while waiting for tacos.

The Mission offers a wide variety of well seasoned and delicious meals you won't find at fast food places. The daily specials are incredible and quality is an obvious priority of the establishment. The overall feel of the place maintains the historical value of the location (you can learn about its history from the educational signs posted downtown) through the stained glass and original elements while presenting a very modern dining experience. Drinks plus food make for a great time out with friends and is definitely one of the best places to eat if you're stuck in the heart of the city. If you're gluten free, they do have options available, though it is a shared kitchen (i.e. risk of cross contamination). Surprisingly, they are quite child friendly!

Took close to an hour to get seated (as expected in Cuse’) Almost an hour to place food order once seated, close to another hour to get food. Service was poor. Had to wave down waitress just to get water refill. Portions small. Food was ok. Prices are somewhat fair. Not worth it for almost 3 hours for dinner.
