Story

Lemon Grass serves lunch menu only at lunch time on weekdays. We serve dinner menu at dinner time everyday and all day on Saturday.

Lemon Grass has been committed to bringing innovative, fresh, and delectable Pacific Rim Thai food to our dedicated clientele for over 20 years. Our award-winning wine list, savory dishes, and knowledgeable wait staff consistently create an exquisite dining experience for every customer who walks past our doors.

First established in 1990 as The Authentic Thai Restaurant of Syracuse in Mattydale, NY, we moved to Armory Square in downtown Syracuse four years later, changing our name to Lemon Grass. We have built a reputation as one of the best restaurants in the Central New York Region, winning Northeastern awards for food and international awards for our wine list. From our fresh spring rolls to our mouth watering curries and innovative desserts, the tongue becomes a palate and the dining experience becomes a memory. Expanding in the Fall of 1996, Lemon Grass opened its brand new bar and sister fine dining establishment, 238 Bistro. Adjacent to Lemon Grass and sharing the same kitchen, bar and staff, 238 Bistro has its very own menu and intimate setting - that of a seafood and steak house. Wishing to prove our ambition and offer more than Pacific Rim Thai to our wonderful clientele, 238 Bistro was christened. In the Fall of 2008, 238 Bistro was renamed Bistro Elephant.
