Longhouse Lodge Motel & Manor

Great place! comfortable.clean,the rates are great . The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. We will be coming back for sure

We stayed at the manor. Convenient location, great view and friendly staff. The upstairs great room and dining area is very nice with an outdoor patio with a view and lots of room. Unfortunately we stayed downstairs which was very dark and dreary. The game room could be nice but it is dark and lighting is very poor. Our room was clean and redone around 6 years ago. The bed was very high and comfortable. The furniture is very low, old and dated. The room is dark with very poor lighting. There were no safety grab bars for shower and a very low toilet. This is not the best place if you have any mobility issues.

This place is so amazing! Huge comfy room and they accept my puppers for a small fee. I will come back here again and again!!

After booking through Hotels.com, it was found that the motel did not receive my reservation (I called two days before my stay to make sure my reservation I booked a few weeks prior was all set). Long story short, it was due to technology. After Hotels.com contacted Longhouse Lodge and got the reservation squared away, the kind gentleman who runs the hotel called me back 10 minutes later to apologize and gave me a free upgrade - something he did not have to do. The room was really nice and clean, and the bedroom was comfortable. The owner and staff are very friendly, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this place after the wonderful service and experience I received. I will certainly stay here again!

From the time of booking (at the B&B) I was given a price then received a call afterwards that the price given was too low and it was really $20 more a night. I agreed and then received another call that the room I was booking was already taken. I was given a room at the motel for their reg price (I should've just said no, at that point). We booked the room, spent two nights there and on the morning of check out we asked to have a later check out, which was approved. We were hanging by the pool and the girl from the office (who approved us to stay until 3) had come out and told us we had to leave, it was 1:30pm and that she should've charged us for staying longer. Our room was clean, but smelt like smoke from the staff sitting outside our door smoking, they were not very accommodating. We would not go there again.
