This motel was basic but VERY CLEAN! We didn't have reservations so they only had a smoking room available. They assured us that it didn't smell of smoke and allowed us to check before checking in. No hint of smoke smell at all! We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal and beautiful views. The service was great and the staff very friendly.

brought the whole (extended) family and had a great time! Very nostalgic and the views are spectacular! Oh yeah... the foods not bad either. Like a trip back in time.

We stayed here 46 years ago and the folks were and are still very friendly and pleasant to talk with. We just went bac to the Motor Inn this September and it is still a good and friendly place to stay, and the Montage Grill is still exceptional as it was 46 years ago. I whole heartedly recommend visiting the Glen Motor Inn.

Views are absolutely gorgeous but that's about it. Rooms are clean but not up to date. They serve their purpose but no frills. If you are looking to get away from it all without camping this is the place. Food at the restaurant was great but a little expensive.
