This place is 5 star al the way. Why then do I give it 4? I feel the only thing lacking is the fitness center. 1 elliptical 2 treadmills. If that is all you need or you don't exercise it's a 5. Great rooms, restaurant is so upstate New York and the bar is warm and friendly

The hotel never told us when we were booking that there was a wedding reception there the same night we were staying there. They booked us in the room directly across from the restaurant and you could hear every word of the music and from the DJ up until midnight. Not only that but apparently they put the people from the party on the same floor and they were running up and down the hallway drinking and screaming until 4 AM. If they had been up front with us, we might have looked past it, but they purposely never told us that something was going on just to fill a room. After complaining to the manager, the best they could offer was ten percent off and a coupon for five dollars off an appetizer at their restaurant. After a whole night of no sleep, it was like a slap in the face! Will never be back here again.

What a disaster!!! As a "thank you" my wife and I wanted to take friends out to a nice dinner. The choice of restaurants could not have been worse. Upon entering the table we were shown to had flies all over it, and we were moved to a different table. Then entire downstairs was very cold as the heat had just been turned on. The food was fair, pre-prepared from Sysco or a similar company. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Below review is from November 2016 and was a four star. Very Enjoyable Experience The latest meal my wife and I ate at Longfellow's was very good. Our server was Nick and very attentive. Longfellow's atmosphere is unique in the Saratoga-Capitol Region, especially nice on cold evenings as the aroma of wood fires fill the air. Pricing is on the higher side and desserts are limited. Longfellow's was not our first choice on the evening we dined there. The restaurant of our choosing was closed and several prior meals at Longfellow's were less than spectacular. I am glad we gave them another chance.

Went to Longfellows for our anniversary. We had drinks at the bar while we waited for our reservation. The bartenders were polite fast and very efficient. Once we got our table our waitress was wonderful and helpful with our dinner choices. The food was excellent and would highly recommend.

Just a short hop away from downtown Saratoga Springs, this hotel is perfect for those who appreciate a more historic, rustic feel. The dining hall is perfect for big events like a wedding, with a lively setting that includes an awesome koi pond. Highly recommended.
