omg, best ever !! carolanne is the best, makes you feel like home!! she went out of her way to ask the chef to make my favorite, that will be back on the menu soon : fried devilled eggs !! she made my birthday the best ever !! thanks to chef brown !!!!

I would like to give the Brook tavern a higher rating. the restaurant is nice, staff are friendly and attentive, the menu is good. Unfortunately, the chef is far too comfortable with the use of salt. My dish included the pork, spaetzle, green beans and roast potatoes - every one was over salted. After a few bites, the only flavor I could taste was the salt, which is unfortunate, since otherwise everything was cooked well. The chef needs to cut back on the salt by half. The salads were very good.
