Pennell's Restaurant

The waitress service was very good. The food was mediocre to be kind. I was very surprised considering all the great things I've heard about Pennell's. Maybe it was just the dish I ordered?...but, my date wasn't impressed with hers either. Also, I was charged $10 at the bar for an unsweetened iced tea?? Unfortunately, I didn't realize it at the time. I hope it was an oversight and not a shady bartender. I'll be calling today to complain. Very rarely write a review...especially a bad one. Saratoga has some amazing restaurants...but this is not one of them. Dozens of better options out there...don't waste you time or money here. If you do,...count your change at the bar. Ugh.

One if my favorites places to eat. The wait staff is excellent. I have to say that the steak is pretty awesome here as well.

Bruce at Pennell's was wonderful about accommodating our need for a quiet space, the food was amazing and the service was first class! It doesn't get better than this! Thank you Bruce!

Fabulous food. Attentive service. Reasonable prices. Who could ask for anything more? I had the lasagna, she had the steak. Lasagna was perfect, noodles not too soft - very nicely spiced - sauce was top notch. Steak was PERFECTLY cooked - which is hard for a steak that thick. Even the carrots/green beans were just al dente - not a bit crunchy, but not soft or squishy. Her dirty martini was 'excellent' too - but I have to take her word on that - yuck! These people know what they're doing. Highly suggested.

We always choose Pennell's for every family celebration. Last night we had Mom's 90th birthday every single dish was perfect. Finished off with the delicious carrot cake and absolutely premium coffee. Could not have been more pleased
