I would give this company zero stars if I could. I purchased 2 sets of Palladio Sheets on Aug 28, the original price was supposed to be $249.95 a set, which I got on sale. I have only used them once and the sheets have little cotton balls all over the surface. I tried to return them to the Pinecrest location this morning but was told they have been washed and used and could not be returned. Yes, they have been used, once, however, it's obvious the product is defective. Regardless of their return policy, if there is an obvious defect in a product, the product should be taken back. A company who does not stand by the products they sell should not be in business. I will never buy anything from this company again. I suggest anyone thinking of buying sheet sets from this place to think twice before doing so, their products are junk.
I've the absolute WORST experience with a mattress that is most probably defective but that that was confirmed ''perfect'' after being investigated. The mattress brand is Simmons. My advice: AVOID this store to buy a mattress. I've tried many times to reach out the Customer Services without any reply.
Ordered product Dec 26 2022 it is now over 1 month and I have not received the 5 items I ordered. Customer Service does not respond to inquiries. I will not be ordering on line from them again - where's my products I ordered?
HORRIBLE service very disappointing as we always want to encourage local companies but the way they treat their customers is terrible. Would not recommend ordering from them. I placed an order On July 13th and on September 30th my order has still not fully shipped. The order states that my items will be shipping in "1-3 days" yet it has now been 79 days since I PAID them for a product I have not yet fully received. Additionally my order was shipped in 8 different shipments, very wasteful in terms of packing CO2 emissions and extremely inconvenient for myself. I had to contact customer service 3 times to have them confirm when my missing items would ship and all 3 times the dates they provided were not respected. Finally, all they gave me was a 10.00$ coupon for a next purchase that I had to request which I will not be using anytime soon as I will not be purchasing from them again.
What I received was clearly not a brand-new product. I ordered a "new" set of plates, not display or open box, but new. What I received was either a display or a return. The outer box and bashed in and had to be taped to hold it shut but the inside was worse. The packing was mangled and buckling. I emailed right away. I waited over 2 weeks without anyone addressing my concerns. I had to go to Live Chat where I waited over an hour. Then I had to prove the damage with photos before being given "permission" to return the set at my expense. If giving permission to return subpar and obviously used items is the extent of their customer service I am surprised they have any customers left. Will never buy from them again. How could I trust that next time I won't receive another mangled and man-handled mess?
Has a Hunter Douglas distributor we turn to this Linen Chest head office to get some replacement hanger brackets for our curtains. The situation is when we bought our condo, the curtains were there so we did not buy them personally. Recently some workers unfortunately broke four brackets not knowing how to dismantlement them. The lady we spoke to at this head office was totally unresponsive to our situation. Because we did not have the original bill of the product she refused to serve us even thought we were ready to pay for the brackets and not want to surf on the 15 years warranty that comes with the product. We ended up calling directly at Hunter Douglas and they proposed to call....Linen Chest!! We explained the situation and ended up getting the appreciation of the clerk about Linen Chest store '' Ho I see, they will not serve you because you are not one of their customers...your are not the first....pleas call this store instead and they will help you...'' ....we did....it worked....Thank you Hunter Douglas....-1 star for Linen Chest, will not buy there for sure....
We shopped at the Vaughn store on Sunday. The moment we walked through the door the Staff was friendly and attentive. The store is clean and very well presented as well. Nothing was too much trouble for Dorna while helping us. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. We purchased sheets, a duvet and duvet cover, a decorative pillow and some linen spray. Everything about this experience exceeded our expectations! It was well worth the 50 minute drive. In the days of big box stores and lack of staff in most retail stores Linen Chest is a breathe of fresh air!! Thank you for exceeding our expectations. Sharon
I made a transaction online 3 weeks ago and Linen Chest hasn't shipped it yet. I mean... Come on, how long do I have to wait just for my order to be shipped?? They obviously sell things they don't have in stock. 1 week after my purchase, I wrote to them to know what was happening since it says on their website that the orders ship in 2-3 days... oh yeah, really?! and it took them more than a week to get back to me. And the answer was basically that they had to ship my order from different places, and they didn't know how long it would take I only have 2 items in my order. I will cancel my order with them and I will never ever buy from them again. There are way more deserving and respectable businesses I can go to.
Received the Sealy foundation that advertised as Tempur-pedic. If I knew it’s from Sealy I would just go for Sealy which is a lot cheaper from The Brick! Also, the foundation is extremely poorly made which not even looks like the advertised photo that has four firm and even corners to support Tempur-pedic mattress. Furthermore, price match is a scam. They say the item from other competitors not only needs to be the same make but must matches the same product code from linen chest’s system, which means you only can get the price match if you purchase a cheaper item from linen chest itself!? I requested a return pickup and a full refund based on above dishonest advertisement and product defect from last Friday but I haven’t gotten any confirmation from the customer service. I was thinking to get another Tempur-pedic mattress from them originally. However, I’m extremely disappointed how dishonest they are and taking 0% responsibility for their dishonest advertisement and product defect! There is no way to purchase anything from linen chest again.
After being a long-time client of Linen Chest I was dismayed this year to find that two products I bought from them were below par. What surprised me even more however, was how poorly multiple representatives of the company treated me after I tried to get help. Time and time again my problem was tossed aside and continuously handed over to Linen Chest employees who treated my concerns as if they were a joke, when in reality my daughter was allergic to one of their products. I was made to take a day from work to travel to their store to finally resolve the issue and when I got there I was laughed at and sent away. I cannot tell you how hard I tried to get a company representative to listen to me only to be ignored. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they do not care about you as a client. Linen Chest has lost a client who has been loyal for over ten years. Utterly disappointing. If I could give less than one star I would have.
