Been waiting 35 mins so far for the only paint guy they have in this store to finish his “10” minute break. Ridiculous. Avoid this place for paint - would rate a 0/5 star if I could.

Your painting department is zero stars on customers service, please remove immediately these 2 employees that literally it takes 10 minutes to go from one side of the counter to the other side. 15 customers waiting, and purposely stretching their day to serve about 3 to 4 customers in a span of 8 hours shift. I will purchase my orders to your competitor from now on.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with a cashier named Maya during a recent visit at the Rona store at Carrefour Laval this afternoon. I waited in line for over 10 minutes while she was dealing with a customer trying to return used cans of paint without a receipt. I understand some returns take longer than others, but when I politely asked if someone else could assist me with my return at another register, her response was shockingly rude and unprofessional.nnShe looked at me and said, “If you can’t wait, you should take your kids and go home, and come back tomorrow.” As a mother shopping with children after having a busy workday myself, I found this incredibly disrespectful, dismissive, and degrading. Instead of showing understanding or professionalism, she dismissed me completely, in front of other customers. Her tone was condescending, and her behavior was the opposite of what you'd expect from someone in customer service. Maya’s behavior was not only unprofessional, it was disgusting coming from someone working in a customer-facing role.nnWhat made it worse was that Maya never apologized or acknowledged how inappropriate her comment was. Instead, it was her co-worker who came over and apologized on her behalf, clearly recognizing that her conduct was out of line. Maya, on the other hand, didn’t take any accountability or even attempt to show basic courtesy.nnI was told her manager Amina? had already left for the day, so I had no one to escalate the issue to at the time. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. I sincerely hope the store takes this seriously and addresses her behavior—no customer should ever be treated this way. She should find herself a job better suited for her personality and skillset.

Horrible service, I showed up this morning at 8am and front door locked, staff inside seemed oblivious to the fact. After 10 minutes when a crowd was forming at the front, someone finally showed up to open the door. Things got worse , I wanted some soil from garden center but doors to go there were locked, went back to information counter and informed staff and they said would be a minute. Well after 30 minutes of waiting I got fed up and left, complete waste of time, never again....

I’d like to thank Stanley from the paint department. He was extremely helpful and very patient throughout the whole process. Truly appreciate his excellent customer service!
