Nice out of the way state park with a lighthouse you can tour and great views of lake Michigan. Does have camping, but it is full rustic with no showers and vault toilets. Seen cabins there. Small play ground and picnic area at the front, some hiking trails in the park also. Do beware of heavy poison Ivy in the area and lots raccoons, but if you're a seasoned camper and/or hiker you should know how to deal with it.

Stayed here one night on my way to North Manitou. Campground is pretty basic: water is available, but no showers, no electricity at sites. There are two small cabins that looked nice. There isn't a lot to do within the park proper, but it's a nice place to stay to explore the area. Campsites were spacious and clean, but there was zero firewood available. I would camp here again.

Beautiful hiking trails and lighthouse museum with beach access, free if you have the Michigan recreation pass on your license plate. The lighthouse costs $5.00 to get in, and it goes towards keeping the place up and running.

Not much happens here, which is why I like it. Just out in nature with an old lighthouse. There are rustic camp sites very close to Lake Michigan, there are two mini cabins if you don't have a tent or camper. You can walk the edge of the lake shore. There are some hiking trails that will take you to remote Sandy beaches. Turn off your phone, and tune into Nature. 😎💞

We bring our kids here and love to visit even if it's just us adults. It's a beautiful place. And the lighthouse is always amazing to see
