Do you enjoy drawn out and overly complicated shopping experiences for a company that is absolutely 20 years behind with its service?   This is the store chain for you!  And, if you act now we'll include a lethargic employee for each experience.  Seriously, it takes 20 mins to get a number, wait in line, have the item requested, then have the associate pull it up, then a HANDWRITTEN ticket, then pull the item, then speak down to you for a good minute, then pull the item from the back, then say "is this it", then walk you over to the cash department - yes just what I said - then wait for an available computer to open up, then ignore your question if LV is ever going to update their store shopping practices, then have them inform you it is an UPDATED experience, then cash you out.  Enjoy losing your upcoming customer base.

A note to say how much I like the garden kneeler/seat. I can be out there much longer pulling weeds, and this is the Spring for weeds. I like the look of it and the weight. Very comfortable.

I used to love it but no notification of closure of   East Toronto site, I checked Google about store hours and it said OPEN so I drove about 25 km each way to not only find it closed but completely shut down, gas being what it is, I wasn't happy. I am on their mailing list, why couldn't they notify their customers.

Ordered A Veritas Dowel maker with 11/32 insert. Did not put out perfect dowels as stated.. returned it for my refund. And never received my money back! 250.00$ that I would of spent back in tools, but just got nothing but a run around. Been months waiting. Called several times.. to no avail! Worst customer service I have ever received! Now debating small claims court...

Great place, staff are super, lots of different/unique/handy items.

Went here on a job fair for temporary warehouse job opportunities, it was a pleasant experience. The place itself has a very clean and professional environment. After being  welcomed and signing in the reception I was given a visitor badge, shown the warehouse and told the details of the position, after that I completed a written exam and had the opportunity to talk a little bit with the recruiter. The exam is not hard at all, just four pages with simple math and attention questions. Double check your answers though, there are little stealthy details in various questions.

Wanted to drop 2500 on fresh sanding gear today. Needed full festool sanding setup today.  Didnt have festool vacuum i needed in stock.  Then I wanted a sander that was on display to learn it was discontinued.  I compromised 2 times with the sander that i would purchase and neither was in stock.  Wouldnt sell me any of the demos.  Guy was definetly no tool guru.  Total waste of my time.

I bought two combination squares and one double square from Starrett via Lee Valley. The levels on two of the squares were very much off and useless.  After some emails back and forth they accepted to send me new ones and pay for it. I think this is good service. I live in Norway.

I've bought numerous tools at Lee Valley over the years. The quality and the range of functionality of the tools are unmatched and the service is great!

Nice store that reminded me of the old Consumer's Distributing. I was expecting more stuff displayed on the floor but basically you use the computer terminals to order from the online catalog and pick it up from the counter
