Canadian Tire

Fantastic selection! Carling Ave location is the largest store in Canada, so you can imagine that they have everything you could want or need lots of choices of name brands! The store is 2 stories, well lit, has security guards, and is super clean with direct access to Carlingwood Mall. Canadian Tire was 100 years old in 2022!!

Great decorations and not the first year, either. Their 'Twas the Night Collection was the perfect addition to my decor.

Shopping for summer tires. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to answer my questions. When placing the order, the service desk quickly found the appropriate tires and an agreed appointment time. Due to a problem found, the job required a meeting with the service manager, who deserves a shoutout for running a cheerful, professional shop and keeping his technicians happy. They willingly visually checked some under-the-car parts I asked to be examined. I was surprised by some unexpected incidental fees for fluids, cleaners etc that were part of the job. Recommended for tire service.

Beautiful store! Spacious and well lit. I had to return an item and there was no hassle from customer service. I did buy a new plug for my bathtub.nnBiggest criticism I have is that it is very difficult to find employees to ask for assistance finding an item. I finally found an employee walking down an aisle while texting on his phone. He pointed me in the direction of where I could find snowshoes as I wanted to look at snowshoes. Later, I came across two employees talking with each other. Meanwhile, there was nobody working in the paint department so good luck if you had a paint question or needed paint mix.

BIG! HUGE! MASSIVE!nBring a walking stick and wear runners.nYou can plan a days outing touring the stores goods. I'd suggest even bringing a picnic lunch and stopping on the second floor patio location for a much needed food break.nIt would be nice maybe I missed it if they had power chairs as a method of travel through this larger than life store.
