My wife and I purchased a brand new dodge ram from Lapointe Chrysler which burnt down at Cabelas in Kanata. At the time we reached out to Lapointe's to make them aware of the situation which they expressed their apologies. We did not put any blame on the dealership because of the incident, things happen. Moving foward after the holidays Lapointe Chrysler did little to no attempt to help my wife and I with the issue. It's been 1 year since the fire and we still receive phone calls for regular maintenance which I asked them to remove me from the calling list .. no change. Just this week 1 year later a employee is sending me text messages asking us to come in and buy a new vehicle from them. The most recent text was at 11 at night! I can't belive how unprofessional this dealership has been. Everything from Lapointe Chrysler making up individual prices for undercoating which they over charge everyone and send it out to other garages, to sneaky sales tactics trying to hide charges and putting the dealership before the customers for everything. Obviously there's good people that work there and If they have a vehicle you want at a great price you should do it, just be cautious at Lapointe Chrysler.
I am thrilled with my beautiful 2021 Jeep and the 5 star service from Lapointe. I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario, found this particular Jeep that met all my criteria on the Jeep.ca website. It was the only one available in Ontario at the time. I was doubtful I could somehow get it from Pembroke, 350 kms away. Well Ethan called me the next day, assured me it would be no problem to deliver it. I had my new vehicle in my driveway in just 4 days! Ethan was in constant contact with me, answering all my questions about the Jeep, and hooked me up with Tiffany and Ada to look after the business side of things. Everyone at Lapointe was fabulous – a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Lapointe to anyone purchasing a new vehicle. Good job!
Recently got a jeep from Lapointechrysler in pembroke and I couldn't be more happy with how everything went. Joel handled everything very professionally and made sure absolutely everything was to my liking trade in process gave me a fair deal and was very easy. Thank you again for having a great team over there I'm very happy with the results and in the end results are what matter.
I was in the market for a minivan and I just bought a used Dodge Caravan from Lapointe. I have never bought from a dealership before and I was not sure what the experience would be like. I really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Made buying a vehicle very simple and painless. Great initial experience and I would definitely go with them in the future. Also Joel is the man! Thanks guys!
Overall, doing business with them got me a sizeable amount for my trade in Jeep Rubicon , and into a vehicle that was acceptable in terms of capability, value, and equipment/features Jeep Gladiator Mojave. This trade wasn't necessary for us, we didn't have any plans to move out of our old vehicle, but when presented with a sizeable offer/trade value, i reached out to 5 or so dealerships to have my Rubicon appraised,ottawa, renfrew, toronto, burlington, oakville i was surprised they were willing to go to those lengths, and pay us that much to get us into the new vehicle. for reference i bought my rubicon as a used 2018 vehicle in 2019 with 21,000 kms on it costing me $47,100 tax in , i traded it in for a value of $47,900 with 54,000 kms paying off my lein of $34,000 which gave me a positive value of $13,900. this to me was acceptable enough to even consider another vehicle, as we weren't in the market, nor motivated to buy anything, the amount that was offered was worth my time in hearing what they had to say/offer. While i did feel like everything took far longer to accomplish in terms of sealing the deal, it did pan out accordingly, as i found i had to continue to point out flaws in the deal, flaws in the numbers, or in chasing down their finance rep to finalize my paperwork. as a consumer, doing this much leg work is somewhat ridiculous. to summarize, my experience could have in fact been somewhat better, but things worked out to make it all come together. -Thanks Joel, Tiffany & Team

I was recently involved in a high-speed collision and my vehicle was written off. Naturally I emailed this dealership to discuss the purchase of a new vehicle as I have bought many from them, they have great experience dealing with the military/veteran community and they have always had great customer service. That being said, it has been a number of years since I bought my last vehicle from them, and since I lived in the area. I sent them an email outlining my situation and...no one got back to me. I find that exceptionally unfortunate given they've been sending me advertising mail, they've been occasionally calling me directly for the past few years, and I place a high value on customer service. Not ok.
Went in just to check out a few vehicles and left with my dream car. Simply to say that Richard made my dreams come true is an understatement. Richard is A1 when it comes to customer service. He is kind, intelligent and the most helpful retail sales person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I'd recommend him to my friends and family in a heart beat.
