I’m always hesitant when it comes to making a big purchase but Ottawa Valley Yamaha made it easy. From the minute I walked in the door to the time I signed the papers, the employees there walked me through every step and answered my million questions. I would definitely buy from them again!

Recently purchased an atv here. Started off ok, then went sideways quick. The salesman Brandon was not very knowledgeable about the "fees" being charged to me, and when I asked, he said he wasn't sure about a couple of them. He then charged me for Freight and another charge for freight "planning". Seriously? What a scam. There was another charge for fuel of $85...then changed to $65. At that point I contested the charges and explained there was no way I was paying roughly $4.65/L for a 14L tank of fuel. This being said, on day of sale, Brandon did provide me $65 in cash for the fuel cost. Brandon told me that it could not be removed and I would have to pay it. He continued on saying that he wasn't dictating the sale, and that it was the owners. When I told him to pass a message on to the owners, he text me and said he would appreciate it if I didn't mention any of this to the owners. That was greasy too. I told him I would continue the purchase but everything else would sort itself out later...ie: This Google review and other places as well. When I called to secure the finance, I was told a rate over the phone by Kateri, then when I showed up 3 hours later to sign the bill of sale, they had changed and increased the finance rate and told me that I was mistaken. Essentially insulting my intelligence. Additionally, I was contacted by Equifax Credit Bureau of Canada to inform me that multiple credit inquiries were made on me by Kateri at Ottaw Valley Yamaha. I consented and authorized ONE credit inquiry, not MULTIPLE!! Now I am going through the process of an investigation and contest of inquiry with Equifax. What a sh!tshow. Later that evening, I received a phone call from Brandon, I answered the call in front of my wife and young son, and it was Brandon pocket dialing me and for about 5 minutes, he rambled on to another male individual about going to the Chris Stapleton concert and "banging" a dirty 40 yearold after the show. I was and still am appalled at this happening. The next day I mentioned it to Brandon, & he just laughed it off. I then paid for licensing, and expected plates on the machine. When I rode the atv home on the trail, I found out that Brandon had kept the license plate in his car he said, & was distracted by 2 older veterans buying a chainsaw. So that's awesome. Charged me for plate registration, never gave me the plates when I could have done it myself at Service Ontario. Send me home illegally...why not. I had to call and ask him to bring the plate to my house that day, and it came about 8 hours later. Ridiculous. 2 days after the purchase of the atv, I received a Yamaha Canada survey email about my buying experience. I completed it as truthfully and fully as possible. The day after, Brandon called me and left a voicemail for me to call him as soon as possible to talk about something. I called back several times, left a voicemail for him to contact me again, I text him multiple times, no response. I then called the Ottawa Valley Yamaha Dealer number, & spoke to a female who said Brandon was away for a couple days. I have still yet to hear from him, despite the female telling me she would pass the message on to him. Still...nothing. This was an awful transaction. Brandon telling me that he "wants the commission as much as I want the bike". Brandon...you're in NO position to tell me what I or any customer wants buddy. Sorry, but you need to stay in your lane kid. Don't ever speak for me or any customer again. You have much to learn. Also, throwing shade at your owners, then telling me not to mention anything to them is not a great method of sales. I told you I would sort it out later. Here I am sorting. And I'm not done yet. Plenty of other places to paste this same review. For every action there is a reaction. This is one of them.

Recently purchased a 2020 Yamaha Raptor. Not only am I super happy with the bike, the experience at OV Yamaha was incredible. I dealt with multiple staff who were always friendly and went above and beyond. I will certainly be returning. Thank you, OV Yamaha.

Great Sales Team, Brandon was very helpful and knowledgeable on all of the products for sale also explaining the options I had if they didn’t already have what I was looking for in stock. Parts and service team is also just as outstanding Amber provided lots of information on what parts I needed for my machines, mechanics are equally as exceptional as they were able to fix my machines in a quick and effective manner thanks Andre and Mike ! Checkout the showroom upstairs for lots of Yamaha and FXR apparel as well as Snowmobiling gear, helmets, gloves, boots and anything else you’ll need for this coming riding season! They also have a great STIHL showroom downstairs as well filled with all of your STIHL products! Definitely will be a reoccurring customer to these guys

Reserved a 2022 Wolverine 850 X4 SE April 2022. I was told it would in late August early September. Talked to the sales guy a couple of times in that time frame. August rolls around and one in the exact configuration i asked for shows up on their Facebook feed as SOLD. Seeing this, I go into the store and ask if the most recent Wolverine that was sold was reserved, it was not. They sold my reservation to the first person to walk through the door. I was told I’d be given a call back to work something out with no follow up. Do not recommend Ottawa Valley Yamaha
