Went to the restaurant on a Thursday night after work and the Rona trip. The place was surely quiet , I had the restaurant all by myself. Ordered seafood tofu soup, and it does felt like it have much less sugar and msg?, then my usual spot which is very good. Side dishes were focused on soy sauce small dishes for the night. Not sure if they provide different side dishes every night though. Seem like they have BBQ and also the very grand not sure the Korean name lunch/ dinner menu. Will definitely try it out if someone going with me .
Fast and kind service! Pork skin was nice and soft with enough bite. Traditional stone pot rice is always my favourite. Soups were also quite good and flavourful.
The reviews looked so good that my fiancé and I went to try, despite ignoring the most obvious signs to avoid such as an empty restaurant and high prices. Our server however was very friendly was attentive to our needs, our orders came pretty fast too. It consisted of bland steamed egg bowl and seafood pancake in serious need of salt. The saving dish however was the grilled pork which was very pricey but delicious. The three dishes cost roughly $68 after tip, hope they improve soon as it really looks like a nice place to dine.
The grilled pork is so so good! Spicy squid and seafood soup is average. The only one I didn’t like is seafood pancake, it’s too soft and not crispy at all.
We really enjoyed their set menu which came with a variety of fresh & delicious side dishes. And plus, scraping out crispy rice crust was another charm of the Korean Hot Pot Rice here.
This place is one of my ultimate favorite Korean restaurants now. Hands down.. this was place is 1. Delicious - 2. Reasonably Priced 3. Clean and comfy I have been getting ready to move so unfortunately all my cutlery‘s and dishes are all boxed up therefore I have been eating out or ordering in. JUST Recently I found out that this Korean restaurant opened up in front of my place! I was a little skeptical at first because the restaurant before this one didn’t taste so great .. HOWEVER I took my chance and I am SO happy I did. Every single dish I ordered was just amazing. I’m Korean.. I’m picky and I am not an easy pleaser when it comes to food. This place is the place to go now when you feel like some yummy Korean food! Check it out when you can!
Really delicious food, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste being on the quality of SURA while being located in Burnaby. Their bulgogi hotpot is pretty unique and the side dishes are quite nice. I'd recommend visiting while it's not so busy yet due to being a new restaurant.
Super clean, and as a Korean I can tell that they care about their food. This is relatively a new place. Others complain about the $$ here, but you need to realize Korean food requires intense labor. All of their side dishes are clean, fresh and delicious. Most of Korean restaurants likes to season their food salty, but not here. Dine here, this is a great spot for authentic Korean food.
Great portion size and good food.
First of all, staff were friendly enough for me to give it another star. Other than that, the food is quite expensive, the taste is bland. We order a set menuminimum 2 person and it is $25per person. Almost everything served cold. We waited for almost an hour to finally get the stone pot rice and the soup. The soup, is amazing. Only soup and soy with 2 pieces of tofu in the pot for a $50 set menu, it is definitely not worth the money. I ended up order another dish from the menu that's $18 because we were so hungry. I have to say, there are better Korean food all around the city with cheaper price that worth every penny. I will not come here again.
