Food was delicious! It all came out piping hot. We especially enjoyed the burnt crispy rice in the hot stone bowls. Limited free parking around the Hannin Village complex, across from H-Mart. You can do your shopping after your meal in Korean town in Coquitlam. Interior of restaurant is small but the turn around is very quick. Very fast and efficient service! We will be back, food was great!

Seolungtang was so good!!! I love how the cuisines are served in this restaurant. I can see so much consideration. We ordered a soup and spicy pork rice in a hot pot. I love the small amount of kimchi and radish. Although we needed to ask one more kimchi, I was glad that we did not make any food waste.some restaurant offers an excessive amount of kimchi Also, we got a scissor and a tong even before we asked. The beef broth was rich enough and It was served with salt and pepper, so I was able to make it to my liking. Spicy pork rice was just ordinary so I will try something else when I visit here next time. I really would like to try spicy ox tail cuisine :

Our first time here…iffy if I’ll be back. The galbitang broth was too salty and aside from the shortribs there wasn’t too much more substance. The kimchi was great except that it was the only banchan offered. The bibimbap, gamjatang and bibimnaengmyeon were all reportedly good. Sadly, the japchae noodles were lacking in ingredients and in quantity for the cost. Also, it’s not young child friendly in that there are only booth tables so a highchair is not possible and the floors are quite slippery with grease?…we walked around very slowly, especially when carrying a toddler.

Authentic Korean Soup Restaurant! My favourite is #3 Galbi-tang soup and #12 Bulgogi soup. They come with rice, so make sure to get the stone rice so you can scrape the bottom to get the crispy bits. It also comes with kimchi and radish. Perfect for the cold rainy days.Recommended dishesSoup

A perfect place to eat on a cold rainy day. The soups came out piping hot. The Bulgogi Soup was delicious. It had lots of ingredients and had a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. The Dogani-tang Soup was also good but had to spend some time adjusting the flavour with the salt and pepper provided. Overall we enjoyed our lunch and would definitely go back.

My favourite Korean restaurant in metro van so far. Bbeodagi Gamja-tang and Galbi-tang is most recommended. Complimentary whole kimuchi and rice is offered with the pot soup. You can chose rice from stone rice and regular rice in a bowl. I definitely recomend the former kind which comes in a hot stone bowl and has a crispy chowy layer at the bottom. The restaurant will be close for redecoration from late April to late May, according to the notice they have on the door. So please make sure to check on the time before you visit.

If you want the homemade Korean food taste, this is the place to go. Fantastic soups and tasty meat dishes. Would come here again no question.

The food is great here but the service is inconsistent. The first time I came here the service was amazing. However, the second time I came left a really bad taste in my mouth and let me tell you why. The lady who I assumed is the owner seated us down towards the left side of the restaurant and simply forgot about us. The people that were behind us list wise, was given their drinks and utensils and even ordered before us. We waited for 10 minutes and yes, I timed it and still nothing. We tried to grab the two ladies eye contact so we can order but they clearly don't look at you. We finally had to say something for someone to come and take our order. We also asked for some tea after since we had nothing to drink nor had utensils. The girl says ok and left and never came back to us with anything! To make things worst, when the owner came to give us our food, she gave us wasn't even the correct order.... By then I was irritated and also told her we have no utensils and drinks. Clearly I was upset and no sorry or anything was said. Now I know how others feel when they enter an Asian establishment...ironic since l'm asian myself. Attached are some photos from the first time coming. I hope they see this and give better service next time because that experience was unacceptable. Bad customer service kills the restaurant even if your food is good.
