Insadong Korean Restaurant

We've been planning to dine here for a long time... and then we luckout on Mother's day and able to get a table. Great dine in experience. Everything was great. Happy tummy, palate satisfied. We'll be back here for sure. Thank you.

Always came here when I was little, and still come here for great Korean food. The kimchi pancake is so good! Possibly the best in lower mainland. Ordered the marinated prime rib traditional cut and it was such a treat. What a fantastic meal. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a Korean bbq place and we picked this place by looking at the reviews. First time trying Korean bbq in Canada and it was a nice experience. We ordered the beef and chicken combo for 4 and it came with soup, side dishes and sides, and rice for 4. Everything was delicious and the overall experience was good. My only complaint is about the portion that was small. Before ordering for 4 we asked the server if it comes with a double portion of everything compared to the combo for two and he said it would. But it wasn’t enough in my opinion and we still were hungry when we were done.

It’s been a while since been back to Insadong Korean BBQ. The flavours haven’t changed and the meats and side dishes are fresh. Good variety of menu items. Went with the combo which is the best deal if you have two or more party members. The service is top notch and they are very attentive. Just remember to hit that “call” button.

Super friendly and welcoming staff, well marinated meat, and cozy dining environment. We used Google map to search Korean food in Coquitlam and saw insadong as one of the top listed option in the neighborhood so decided to come here and try. We ordered the insadong signature combo for 2, average $50/ person after tax and tip, and it was for sure amazing. I would say at least 30% more affordable than the similar quality in downtown. Dining environment is spacious, clean / fresh air, good choice of background music and volume setting and happy staff! The waiter who assisted us was pretty chill and friendly, suggested us how to cook more efficiently and what to eat first haha Food is good quality, tender and well marinated, no need to add too much saucing on top. The original flavour is pretty good already.

Went on a weekday evening with a large group. Insadong was quite busy at the time with most tables full. The restaurant was very accommodating and gave us time to order. Food arrived very quickly after ordering and staff provided suggestions on the order in which the meat should be cooked. Salad was fresh and the soup had a good flavour. The meat was plated nicely and there was more than enough food for seven people, considering the Family Combo was intended for four people. The staff did not push our group to leave and they were quite regular with changing out the grilling plates. The staff did not refill the water after some time, but the staff did seem to be quite busy. Considering the price, would recommend for a special occasion.

Great service and very tasty food. The Korean dishes not Korean BBQ are at a decent price. The service is really good and attentive. The server at my table responds really quickly and brings items to the table when asked.Recommended dishesSoup

This is a nice place to meet up with people around north road. The restaurant was refurbished in the last couple of years and looks well. I've gone here a few times and both the food and service have never left me upset.

I don't know why I've never been here before! The food is amazing, their grill setups don't give off smoke, service is great! The little buzzer at each table is genius! Servers came by atleast 4 times in a 2ish hours my friends and I were there to change the grill plate. One star down because the place was quite noisy and zero masks on staff. Luckily the tables are quite far apart so still felt safe eating. Just wore a mask walking through and waiting for the table.

Amazing food and great service. The thing I love the most here is the way they marinated and seasoned the food which was flavorful but not too sweet nor salty. My friend and I got the beef and chicken combo. It was delicious, especially the tofu soup. I definitely come back here again.
