Kimbap Cheonguk

Possibly the best kimbab in town! Freshly rolled and great portion size for the price! Food quality is very good while service is very friendly! Though the store is slightly small, hence wait times might be an issue during peak hours.

This was our second time and experience was somewhat mediocre. Maybe we should have ordered different dishes but our soups were not that great. It feels like they were not tasting the right way, I mean taste wasn’t norm for the type of soup they were. Ingredients also didn’t impress. Side dishes were bad and minimal. But the place is cozy and parking’s plenty.

This is currently my favorite go to spot for a quick meal. The staff here are really nice and efficient. It's generally really easy to find parking and take out is super quick! But I highly recommend to dine in because of the soup in the teapot! It is the best combination to have with the kimbap! It's so comforting in the cold weather. For the kimbap I recommend the tuna kimbap and add kimchi to it. The regular kimbap is good as well. The beef kimbap is good too if you add cheese or kimchi to it. The naengmyeon cold noodle is really good and chewy too. Highly highly recommend giving this place a shot! My girlfriend and I come here almost once a week. It's also budget friendly, the soup + kimbap can probably fill you up. Can't wait to come back again.

Their Kimbap is really really good! We had the beef one with kimchi. The roll comes with some oil on top which made it smell really good. Kimchi is a bit spicy, but very tasty! We also order a grilled chicken with cheese and seafood with cheese? tbh, it was a mistake. We thought the seafood one is more like a hotpot or soup, but ends up both of them are similar dishes. They’re tasty but it’s just a bit too much for us. The menu is a bit hard to understand if you’re not familiar with Korean food, but their staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back for more Kimbap!

This place offers the most authentic kimbab! Tuna Kimbab with kimchi was the greatest choice!! Although there was no ham in Kimbab, it was still tasty. And the way they pack the food made me feel like going on a picnic : next time I will dine in and enjoy other cuisines too Recommedation : Tuna with kimchi > beef > cheese kimbab.

I love everything about this tiny restaurant, the bulgogi kimbab, the nangmyeon, the sundae, even the free beef broth they gave us to warm up before the meal. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean.Food: 5/5

Quick service and big kimbabs! The beef one was our favourite. Dine in to get some complementary soup that comes in the teapot! It tasted like a bone broth to me.

This is a hidden gem in Lougheed area. We’ve been going here for years and the food is consistently good. Our favorite is the kimbap. The taste hasn’t been changed for at least 8 years! Still delicious! The combination of salty, creamy & hint of sweetness is just perfect! The filling & portion are generous considering how affordable the price is! - tuna kimbap: our favorite! The creamy mayo was perfect! - bulgogi kimbap: has a slight sweetness in the beef that makes it delicious! Sometimes when we dine in, they gave us the broth that was delicious and hearty. I could drink all the broth by myself!

Stone bowl wasn’t hot enough to crisp up the rice. Tuna for Kim Bap and rice bowl was out of a can. Service was good. The complementary soup was nice. Clean location and attentive service.

I used to love this place, especially for kimbap, but one roll is now over $7, and there were egg shells in my tuna kimbap today. I've never experienced egg shells in my kimbap in my life and am highly disappointed.
