Breakfast: I had steak & eggs with potatoes and rye bread. Very good, very satisfying, and quite a decent price! I'll come here again, please! Their location is a bit tucked away, so either you happen to notice it as you drive by, or you hear from someone. I noticed it. I have other go-to's for breakfast, so I kept forgetting to try it out but today I did and I'm thankful for it! The food: steak; I asked for medium well & got exactly that, delicious & wonderful. Seasoned a smidgeon much, but not too much, just a shake or two more than I might have.. that being said, parred well with the potatoes. The potatoes were very tender with a couple pinches of green & white onion. I might have added more onion myself, but these were just enough to be an added bonus. I'm not a breadie but the rye was nice, not toasted too much, just a nice firmness, buttered but not overmuch either. Perfect for jam. I'm coming back to try their lunch items, but this has especially become a go-to for breakfast.
Really cool and amazing little gem to eat breakfast in. The owner is very personable.
I go about once a year, for old times sake. It's probably the dirtiest restaurant I have been too. Food is not very good and I don't know how they keep their restaurant license. Fries taste like old oil, your really only renting this food because it leaves you pretty quick.
Wonderful place for breakfast. Great service, cosy atmosphere and broad variety of sides like bread or mustard. Can't complain about the price - you can get huge breakfast for $8. Will be back for sure.
As soon as we walked in we felt we were about to sit down at a relative's kitchen table, talk about life in general and share a meal! It's a very cozy, down to earth atmosphere. The owner made us feel at home! The food is clearly home cooked, the prices are unbeatable and the portions are very big. My partner devoured is breakfast and could not say enough good things about it! I loved my potatoes panfrys, the bacon was thick and cooked to perfection, but I felt the sunny side up eggs whites were a bit runny to my taste on our first visit here. On our second visit I ordered eggs over easy and they were perfect, but the bacon tasted deep fried it was not, we were informed. All in all, a nice, hidden gem with good food.
This place was a favorite of mine, but is currently showing no signs of life. The phone number is out of service, so I took a drive out there 2 times over a span of a month. Today I looked in the window and saw that there was missing furniture and appliances. The hours are still posted on the door though. Hopefully it's prep for renovations but it seems unlikely.
The food here is exceptional, the vibe is so cool, but the last time I went I was refused service. The waitress literally asked me "how many?" I said "two". See said "I don't have it". We were then forced to leave. Absolutely absurd, will probably never go back.
Love this place. Old and run down look, no matching furniture or utensils. It doesn't need to look good because it's a great place to be with awesome food.
Okay guys I went to this hidden gem from a post on this page called Kelly's Kafe. Upon driving up I was a little nervous. However I pulled my princess like behavior to the side and decided to give it a go. Oh my lucky charms was I happy we tried it. The food portions were amazing and the price was so inexpensive l felt guilty. I had the bacon, eggs, hashbrown and toast. Oh my lawd it was fricking delicious. Yall gotta try this place. Don't let the outside fool ya. Sweet little older lady cooking all by herself must have made a pack with the gods.
It is a quainty spot in an industrial building, which might deter some people like we almost did!. We gave it a try regardless, and it was kind of a weird atmosphere - They give you a huge water pot from which tou fill your plastic glass yourself we did not lol!, and coffee is being served in Dolalr Store cups - Which is kinda weird, but it did the job. They seemed organized, although they looked like they were a little stressed as we were one of the 4 groups that came in at the same time maybe just my imagination, but I would say that everything was ok. Food was greasy and good, the potatoes were amazing, to be honest - Prices can't be beat either. I'd suggest you give it a try.
