Living Sky Cafe
"Located in the heart of downtown inside the Glengarry building on 3rd Avenue, we are cooking up all of our favorites. Serving all-day breakfast, homemade soups and signature salads. All of our paninis and sandwiches are served on house baked. Our beverage selection includes locally roasted coffee, organic loose leaf tea, 9mile beer and several creative cocktail options. Great for those looking to dine-in, grab something to take out or even for those looking to have something delivered. We also provide a wide variety of catering options as well as offer our beautiful cafe location for private bookings. We truly pride ourselves in creating an amazing experience for our guests and are so thankful to do what we love every day!"

Every dish was great. Their blueberry iced tea was so naturally favoured with no artificial taste. They mean it when they say ‘fresh fruit’. The owner lady was very friendly and kind. Plus I loved their decorations around the cafe. Very unique and impressive.
Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Nice bathrooms. Service was good and friendly. The food was excellent. I had the Philly beef sandwich with the smoked Caesar salad; I’m from Pennsylvania, and it’s rare to find a proper steak and cheese in Canada. This is the best Canadian Philly I’ve encountered. Salad was very good. I tried my partner’s chicken and waffles, which was also very good. Blueberry iced tea was refreshing. I will definitely visit again.
It's been a while since I was last here - long enough that they expanded and took over the neighboring space. The expansion is well deserved, and the new additions are amazing! I used to come weekly for a latte or iced drink and loved their homemade syrups. Especially the lavender! This time around, I had the honey cinnamon latte and enjoyed it so much! The menu of food has also expanded quite a bit, and I chose the chicken & waffles. It was coconut breaded chicken, two waffles, an egg, maple syrup, and a hollandaise type of sauce. Awesome balance of sweet & salty. With a bit of spice. Service was great, and everything happened at a reasonable and unhurried pace. The restaurant was packed, but the din was never overpowering. Pardon the photos - overhead lighting Was an absolutely amazing experience being back. And I'm so glad to see such a lovely place having great success and growth, while maintaining their small Cafe feel.
Happened to notice this gem on my walk this afternoon, it was a little cold out so I I felt like having a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry or dessert. I was greeted immediately with a smile and sat a table. The latte was excellent, the service was courteous, and attentive. The server recommended the Banana Cream Pie Croissant and it was delicious! I can't wait to try more food here and always nice to know you are supporting a family owned, local business.
The most cozy, comforting restaurant that serves wholesome food that is always top notch. It’s impossible to just order one thing. Their salads and soups are amazing, and everything on the menu you want to try. There’s a lot to choose from and the quality is always so fresh. I highly recommend ordering a few things and sharing. Portion sizes are great. I also love the collective atmosphere of the place. The little market on the side is a great concept to bring home some of their products.
Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service. The house made sausage is to die for and 100% you need to try their blueberry iced tea! Ordered the Wake and Bake and Breakfast Poutine, every bite was cooked to perfection and packed with fresh, delicious flavours. If you haven't tried this local gem, get your mask on and head out NOW. 10/10
I went there for breakfast but ended up having the Shrimp Tacos and Salmon cakes as a side after asking for their suggestions. The taste was really good so as the environment. Would love to go again.
Love this place. The food is always delicious whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are great, the service is fast and everything always taste fresh and homemade.
Good local cafe, with a great atmosphere! Had a great brunch here— we called in advance and got on the waitlist, which was good, since the restaurant was packed. We were seated promptly. We ordered a drink and a couple of meals. It took several minutes about 10 for the drink to arrive, and quite a few more for the food. Upwards of 20-30. Food was worth the wait though— everything tasted good, and we enjoyed our meals. We waited received the bill shortly after eating, but had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the machine. I understand the restaurant was pretty busy, but it’s something that should be improved upon for next time. That being said, it is a great local cafe. Clean, well maintained, staff are friendly and the food is great.
Easily the best brunch spot in town. Most consistent, most flavorful, and best one on one experience. Don't hesitate to bring the kid's! They have an a la carte menu that they can select single items from. Kid-friendliness: Great lighter fare items Wheelchair accessibility: It is all on the ground floor. Dietary restrictions: They are very flexible on menu adjustments.
