Grainfields Restaurant

The service is always very great. The staff are all very kind. Been here about 5 times at this point. The establishment is always very clean. I've never had to wait very long. The food is excellent and always satisfies the breakfast craving. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

We were staying nearby and tried them out. We were looking for homestyle cooking and found it. We both had the seniors cutlet, the taste was good, food was hot and the service was quick and not too intrusive. The restaurant was not noisy and the temperature was just right. My wife had enough to satisfy her appetite, I still had some room so I filled it with some tasty coconut cream pie.

Consistently good service - large menu selection - and the place is always busy which means there doing something right. I ordered avocado and salsa on rye toast with a couple scrambled eggs. I enjoyed it and it was a healthy choice offering which some restaurants don’t have. Even though it was busy our server kept our coffee cups full and were attentive to us.

Exceptional service from an Asian man sorry, didn't get his name who remembered our 4 person orders with all kinds of options and variations. Incredible! Oh, and BTW the food was good and prices reasonable.

Had Mom and Dad visit from Manitoba a few weeks ago and our breakfast was sooooooooo gooooood!! The waitress was patient with us as we were visiting and eating. Also our 1 and 3 years old children were running laps around other tables near the end but they didn't make a big deal about it which we thanked them for and gave a nice tip as well. Kid-friendliness: Our kids went full crazy mode and the waitress didn't lose her cool. We thank you very much for being kind to us.

Grainfields is okay. That's about it. The food is okay, fairly standard family restaurant fare, unremarkable tasting either good or bad, in moderate portion sizes. The service last time we were there wasn't that good. The young man who served us was inexperienced and trying a little too hard to be charming, which didn't help us get over the annoyance of waiting forever to give our orders - or the much longer wait for our food. I grant that the place was busy and the server was run off his feet, but Grainfields is always busy in the morning, so I expect things to run a little smoother than we saw. In the end we got our food, and it was okay. And that really sums up Grainfields for me: okay.

My fiance and I went to the resturant last week, came inside and waited. We sat down waiting to be taken to our table. The store staff looked at us come in and continued to go back to what ever they were doing. Another person came in, the staff working dropped what they were doing and they went to seat them before us. We didn't bother to eat, we just left.

It's good right from the start. The smell of good coffee and food. I know it's always going to be good. Good service,meals come in good time. Great variety and again, always good!.⁸Food: 5/5

This place was like a second office for me. For many years its where I had coffee , breakfast and lunch meetings. The food is good. Plentiful portions. Excellent service. Non stop coffee.
