The Underground Cafe

This place has a comforting cozy atmosphere & loved the musical aesthetics like the upside down drums & the small stage area. I came in around 12:45 PM when there were little to no customers & decided to dine-in. Ordered the chicken, veggie & hummus on grilled flat bread, a Meg White a candycane tea latte & one lemon lavender cookie. The staff were friendly at the cashier & table service. The food looked & tasted great. Sure, the contents leaked from the other side while I took a bite, but it the wrap never fell apart from my hands. The Meg White was minty & I could immediately drink it, it wasn't too scalding hot for the tongue which was nice. The lemon lavender cookie wasn't too sweet & the lemon lavender flavors complimented each other. I plan on taking my friend or family members to this place as my treat, would come by again to try their other menu items!

Came here for breakfast with my lady I got a large Americano double double coffee and she got a Cat Steven's then we both got waffles one with blueberries cream cheese and pecans the other strawberry cream cheese and hemp and chia seeds both were amazing thing light waffles fresh toppings and great presentation. Not to mention look at the photos this place has an amazing little green area to sit eat and relax very cozy will be back for sure :

Super chill and good vibes. Unfortunately the coffee wasn’t exactly what I expected, I got the Little Richard and I wasn’t able to take the mocha or a kick. Instead it tasted chalky, like cocoa powder. I did finish it though, so clearly it was drinkable but I wouldn’t get it again. The service at the table was pretty good too, but would have definitely liked my water refilled.

I liked my matcha Chai latte! I wanted something with smoked tofu but they were out of it. The hummus-veggie thing I got instead was not bad, 7/10. I'd go again and try other stuff, cuz they have a lot of drinks that look great, and I want to try that smoked tofu!

Had a latte. The art is an A for effort. Presentation aside, it is of standard fair. Doesn't strike me as outstanding. Come for the ambiance, and the seating space.

An adorable cafe and a great spot to sit and chat. I had a vanilla late that was very yummy and an incredible chai tea latte sandwich cookie. Definitely will be coming back!!!Food: 5/5

Excellent coffee, excellent breakfast. Great people working here. Seems like there's a stage for music. Would definitely come back for more. I had the breakfast muffin and the brew coffee. They make their own pesto sauce, fresh and delightful. The brew coffee was surprisingly good. I had low expectations but I was wrong. Sort of on the high price for a brew but excellent. Love it!

We sat outside by the gorgeous vertical garden. I had a chicken hummus sandwich with a Richie Valens coffee. It was delicious! Definitely going back or another coffee asap!

This is a favourite spot of mine to go when I need a nice atmosphere to get some computer work done or go for visit with a friend. Cool vibes, great staff, terrific coffee and fresh homemade food options. And when covid is over the music nights are so much fun! If you are wondering about the cookie....the icing is lavender flavoured. So delicious!
