One of the best hidden gems in Chicago. Great live music 7 days a week, right on the water overlooking beautiful Burnham Harbor. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and Bloody Mary's in the morning, a whole outdoor BBQ setup, tailgating before Bears games and the beer garden has a cool sunset vibe! Patrons are generally harbor boaters, some south loopers, people waiting for charters and random runners/walkers that are enjoying the lake front path.
Really like this hidden place on the lake!! Good food, great drinks, always good music playing- live a lot!! It's so much fun on a Beautiful day!!!
We had an engagement right on the water and this restaurant was not accommodating. We even had a $400 minimum which we exceeded and they were super rude that we were taking up too much space, yet the bar was dead. Janja was disrespectful and unpleasant.
Boat Drinks Bar & Grill. It took almost 45 minuts to get our food,then food was cold. Need more seat around the space that Boat Drink Bar & Grill have for their clients. Restroom were awful ,dirty and stinky.
Fun little outdoor bar and BBQ right by Soldier Field. Live music and fun people.
Very disappointed. We didn't feel safe ordering food at a place where the one server/cook was maskless while interacting with all patrons. This person was maskless while grilling food and bringing it out to patrons. The bartender was also not wearing a mask appropriately. The only thing we ordered since we didn't feel safe ordering food was a double vodka drink for $15. It was disappointing, hardly any alcohol in the drink - certainly not a double and certainly not worth $15. Will not be coming back, as this is littered with health violations in the time of COVID.
Boat drinks is a fantastic place, a bastion for the boating community. And a fantastic place in general. They are making improvement after improvement to the location and it really shows in how much it's flourished lately. With live entertainment nearly every night, friendly staff and fun regulars it's truly one of my favorite places in Chicago.
Very nice, relaxing place with live music almost every night. You can lounge and enjoy the harbor and water and the good crowd
The bar tender Jill seems to be more interested in her phone and helping the band unload then helping out the guy behind the bar that was doing it all. The line was fifteen deep! Took me 15 minutes to get one beer. Pay attention Jill!
Great outdoor space for our large group of an unknown amount were expecting 10-50 people. Drink buckets were relatively inexpensive. Service was slow, I guess the kitchen got backed up, totally understandable, except some in my party never received their food at all. Italian beef served dry nothing on it and wasn't given any sauces.
