Place is a dump. Wasted 5 hours of my life. The waiting rooms are filthy, and the nurses just gossip. Only 1 doctor on shift, LPN’s are bottom tier nurses and aren’t qualified to do anything with the patient. They just gossip and stand at the desk, instead of cleaning or assisting in helping the hospital run. Just a pay check for the workers.

The team of professionals at Juravinski Cancer Centre, from the moment you approach the front entrance, is simply outstanding. This is a truly remarkable group of individuals who come together around people experiencing a profound time in their lives. The genuine care these Healthcare professionals feel for patients is palpable. They clearly have the smarts, they also have the hearts, to help patients face individual journeys with support and with comfort. What's struck me through every encounter, is how this team consistently offers voices, minds and smiles that are both reassuring and patient. It's incredible to me that EVERYONE is just so wonderful at ensuring a challenging time is made as bearable as it can be. I clearly cannot speak highly enough of my personal experiences at JCC. I simply want to acknowledge in this review that this is, from my perspective, a team where I am filled with gratitude for the work they do, the commitment to Cancer treatment and care they demonstrate and for the sheer humanity they have on display every day, as individuals and as a team.

Appalling lack of care. Omitting a long series of neglect, up to the final event, my sister-in-law went to the cancer urgent care because she was passing blood from both ends. They said her hemoglobin was low, and yes, they sent her home and told her to return for transfusions the following day. She asked if they had a little corner she could stay in. No, she was sent home. She died the following day. We are heartbroken.

everyone from security that meets you as you pull up to nurseing staff to doctors to make a scary experiance as easy as they can when you are there and you see so many people that are for the same reason there is nothing that makes me fell like i am falling my wife as i watch her go through treatment and there is nothing i can do to take away her cancer if i could i would take the cancer my self if it would save her but everyone at the cancer center to make your visit as less frightning and try to be comferting as they can we have had great nurses and doctors thanks to everyone but not credit goes to the security guards that always are so helpful as you are letting out my wife and it eases the stress when the first thing to greet you is a security with a smile and all they want to do is to help you thanks i am gratefull for everyone being there for us

This place is amazing. Every single person I have come across had been kind and helpful including the doctors nurses cleaning staff and the security guy outside. Special thanks for the security gu outside.sometimes when I am waiting outside for my ride I see him always friendly and kind to everybody . He opens the car doors and greets everybody in such a friendly way. The world needs more people like him.

1st time at this department. I hope they will take care one of my love once. Pray for us!

My father had tumours in his bladder , they were removed and he was given six BCG treatments. This is where the mess starts , he waited months for the first ones with almost no contact with the oncologist office and when they were done waited months again for word on tests and what not . Then we were bounced to another oncologist because the first one was a Kidney specialist and not a bladder specialist. Now the next oncologist decides that we need three more BCG treatments in three weeks after the first six did nothing and the cells still remain in his uretur. Now waiting as they set up appointments for first thing in the morning for mostly elderly people and the “new “ computer system doesn’t talk to the pharmacy to mix the meds . Like are you kidding me , know you have under staffed nurses trying to run a clinic with no meds and people waiting in scrubs for hours on end. I am honestly surprised that the cells have not spread due to the year and a half that we have been coming here and dealing with this . The nurses are great the system is a broken joke

I was diagnosed with cancer in August 2020. The Doctors, Nurses, Radiation Therapists, Pharmacists and other staff at this Hospital and Cancer Clinic have been extremely kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional throughout this ordeal. I could not have had a better experience. A special thank you to Dr. Levine, Dr. Hodgson and Dr. Kim from the bottom of my heart.

My mother in law was faced with discrimination, rude comments and made to wait for over 49 mins while 21 persons were allowed to go before us. If your a POC or visible minority, avoid this place

Had my first chemo treatment this week and can't say enough good things about the nurses in the chemo suite. They are so calm and and reassuring that the procedure becomes less daunting, even the IV was painless. A sincere thank you to their dedication and kindness.
