It's not exactly what I imagined, but the nurses were so wonderful for the most part.. Dr.Soloman was an exceptional dr who took care of our mother in her final days..he was very supportive and he listened...and just made things really clear. I'm so thankful we chose St.peters...it was the right decision. It can use a remodeling it feels Uber outdated the ppl at st peters deserve a revamp. Thank you. This is the last view my mom ever had outside.. and we shared it together everyday and night for as long as we could. .. it was beautiful I'll cherish those memories we had
My father came to St. Peter’s on October 22nd and was greeted by Nurse Jenna. She was his nurse for his first two days. My father was deaf and his cancer had made him immobile. We expressed our wishes, needs and his restrictions, and Jenna listened and put everything into action for us. Jenna took it upon herself to learn sign language to communicate with my father, was gentle and kind. Jenna later was his nurse again in what would be his final two days Nov 2&3. Again, Jenna was beyond compassionate and caring not only in how she cared for my dad but how she delivered news to our family and continually checked in with us. She stayed late because she cared to ensure we were okay. When she left she said her goodbyes to my dad as well. I cry every time I think about Jenna because I know my dad always felt cared for, respected and safe in her care and I’m very grateful we had her for his first days, and his last days.nnJenna, if you read this, you have truly found your calling and our family is so grateful to have met you. Anyone in your care will be so lucky. We wish you all the best.
My father now passed has been here for a few months now, first for rehab and then for palliative care and I confirm that he absolutely could not receive the care, dignity, respect and love that he has received here at any other hospital in the world. I am eternally grateful for the nurses, doctors and staff here 2 West who have been taking care of him selflessly in the twilight of his life nnIgnore the poor reviews that you read here as some people will complain about anything without putting themselves in the shoes of the constantly stressed caregivers. Have a heart people.
Beautiful facility, awesome staff, real-time doctors who are very knowledgeable. Very family oriented with 24/7 visitation. Don't believe you could find a better place during a difficult time.
Wonderful experience while I was at St. Peter's for rehabilitation. From the nursing staff, PSW, OT and the Physio staff. All need to be commended for the care and compassion that was provided to me during my stay.nThank you.nMarie Ciotti
