Jiffy Lube Kanata

I'd like to thank the staff at this location for being so friendly and accommodating. I stopped by on Sunday in minus 15 temperature as my car's low tire pressure indicator light was on and they put air in my tires and had me on my way within minutes - now I call that service! The young man behind the counter would not accept any remuneration. Thank you so much.

Super thankful for a great place that is honest with me every time! great staff and sometimes there are snacks to go with my coffee that I get. Yes they do mention when items need to be replaced as per my manufacturer, but they are not pushy compared to the dealership I used to go to. I recommend this place to everyone I know!

Customers be ware. The service is fine, but the communication is terrible. The 4 people prior to me as well as myself were told "$15 to balance tires". The reason I have a problem with this is that they say "$15 to balance the tires" but they really mean $15 / tire. The wording of their explanation of service should be amended. A second issue around balancing is that they charge you even if your tires don't need balancing. It is a shady way of doing business. I would not recommend based on this experience alone.

Was not happy about the service. I went in for an oil change, they then did a battery test without asking me, disconnected my battery, and failed to reconnect it properly. They then flashed a battery test result for a few milliseconds and didn't give me enough time to read it. They also tried to sell me a battery. I instead told them to jump the car. I then watched one of them fiddle around with my battery, and kept insisting that my battery was nearly dead. And then I started it up, and it worked. I have reason to believe they tried to scam me. Customers need to be more aware of the constant scams in these garages, and need to make sure they are not being sold anything they don't ask for. And for those wondering, my battery had zero issues starting up the car before I went in. No slow startups or anything. To those who own hybrids, be aware that your car dash may light up due to the 100 volt battery, but your car may be designed to not startup if the 12 volt isn't connected properly (what I think happened to me.) Avoid this garage like the plague.

Thought I would try a new place and support a new business, got very disappointed. Called ahead to ask if they were still taking customers as it was later in the evening - I was told “yes”. Loaded my tires and showed up minutes later at 7:20 but was turned away saying it was too big of a job and they didn’t have time. Went back to where I usually go and got the same usual great service.
