Jack Astor's Bar & Grill

One of the nicer Jack Astor’s ive been to. Super friendly staff. Natalie our server was fast and courteous. Food was fantastic. The potato and leak soup was great. Wings were hot and fresh.nacho platter was massive. Kids chicken fingers and fish pops were a hit. Hope to be back soon.

Service was great. Unfortunately we were hoping the food would be great too. The world famous chicken fingers were cold and were probably not cooked to order. The plate was piping hot, so it was sitting under the heat lamp. Funny because the fries were cold too. Really not worth the money. Very disappointing.

Found a bug in my appetizer. Yes, a BUG. Had a horrible experience this past weekend. The service was slow. One of the glasses of water had a huge chip in it, so we sent it back. Once we received our nachos as our appetizer, we started to eat it, and lifting one of the nachos, a bug came out and started crawling around. Told the server and his reaction was "I guess we have a bug issue" Took the nachos away, without even offering to make us new ones, and said he would take it off the bill. We waited another 45 minutes for our entrees, and after we received them, the food was COLD. Spoke to the manager, who apologized. We didn't eat a single thing from there, and all the manager could say was "So sorry, we aren't going to make you pay for anything, your bill is on us" Well it should be on you!!! You clearly have a service issue and BUG issue. We walked out, pissed off and hungry, with a stupid coupon for a free appetizer after you purchase $25, only to be used AT THAT LOCATION. Will never go there again, ever.

Jacks Pickering has an amazing beer selection from local craft brewers. The food is great as well and reasonably priced. Perfect for dinner before a movie.

Had a great time at Jack's. We were there this past Sunday for a late dinner. When we got it they we were I formed of some beer tasting event and raffle that was happening to raise money for a local family who's service dog needed surgery. We met Steve, the manager at that location who was very nice. It was so cool to see him walking around and checking in on customers to see how they were, how the event was, etc. He was very personable and it was really nice chatting with him. He told me about this chai beer they had on tap, give it a try if you go! They also had live music and they guys who were singing were awesome. The food was also really good, tuna guacamole and i had the sesame tuna bowl.. I would recommend both! Such a great night out.
