Jamie's Italian Square One

I went for lunch with a friend and grabbed the 3 course. Flavours were rich, textures excellent, and smells were great. Service was attentive and friendly. Food came fairly quick, but perhaps my starter soup was a bit too hot. My friend's meal was also quite good. Definitely will go back next time I have business in Mississauga. Value for what we got for lunch was definitely there.

I just had the most wonderful dining experience at the Square 1 location. The atmosphere and the food were incredible. Every detail was taken into consideration. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch the chef’s preparing the meals, with such care, from my table. To add to the experience, my server Sophia, was the best server I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was friendly, full of knowledge about every item on the menu, and made sure to accommodate my mom’s nut allergy. By the end of our dining experience, I felt like I knew Sophia, and I so appreciated her effort in making our experience a positive one. Can’t wait to come back and dine again.

This place has nice decor and great service. However, the food really lets it down. We tried a few different things and found all of them bland and lacking in any flavour whatsoever. Some of the same dishes at common downtown Italian spots are so much better by comparison. I would only recommend this to large groups that need a quiet place with lots of space and great service but are willing to accept below average food (for the price category).

Not sure what's going on with the rating, I'm Italian and very picky about quality when it comes to Italian food, usually just eat homemade, or at some underrated Italian bakeries, but for a franchise this was great. I had the margherita pizza and it tasted very good. Good sauce, cheese, and basil. Nice and simple like it should be. The pizza even tasted like it was cooked in a wood burning oven but it wasn't, which surprised me for that quality.

This was just okay. The service is phenomenal, the place is very clean, the washrooms are quite comfortable and sanitized (at least the men's washroom). The food looks very appetizing. I ordered the linguine pomodoro, I was satisfied however it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. It was bland, but filling which is why it's only 3/5 stars. Overall great place! Would recommend
