I really like this restaurant. Before, it was because of the delicious food, but this time it was because of something else. My husband and I wanted to have a meal here today, but our child was craving a burger. So, we decided to ask the staff if it would be okay for our child to eat a takeout burger in the restaurant. To our surprise, the staff agreed without hesitation. I know many restaurants don’t allow outside food, so we were truly happy. Our child got to eat what she wanted, and my husband and I enjoyed the meal we were craving too.

I have been coming here for years. Staff mannerism needs to be addressed and trained. Don’t talk to people like they came to a third world country pick up UN rations. From the moment we walked in, the tone of speaking is disrespectful and not fit for food industry.nnPlease train the staffs on how to behave with customers.

I usually go for the Watan Kabob Platter when I’m starving; it’s a little bit of everything and always worth it.nnService is quick but not overly personal — they’re efficient, especially during lunch rush, but don’t expect too much chit-chat. It’s more of a grab-your-food-and-enjoy kind of vibe, which honestly works for a place like this. The dining area is clean and well-kept, but nothing fancy. It's more about the food than the atmosphere.nnPricing is fair considering the portion sizes. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. And if you’ve got leftovers, they still taste great the next day.nnIf I had to nitpick, parking can be a bit chaotic during peak hours, and sometimes the line gets long — but that’s also a sign that the food is doing something right.nnOverall, Watan Kabob Matheson delivers consistently good Afghan comfort food. Nothing over the top, just solid flavors and portions that don’t disappoint. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

The food was fabulous. All the things we had were fresh and tastilicious. The air conditioner was not very good and it was warm day. Overall great experience

There was a mix up in the kitchen so our food was delayed by a little bit, but the restaurant offered us two extra skewers to make up for their small mistake. This is such a kind gesture and we would definitely come back again. Food was great, people were kind.
