Emerald Chinese Restaurant

Pretty good Chinese food. Went there during Chinese New Year so it was expectedly crowded. The service isn't friendly nor rude - just to the point and hurried. There was a banquet there so it's good enough for fancy events. Overall food was tasty. I would go back. Interested to hear if there is a specialty they do really well.

We came in for an early dinner. Spacious dining space with very traditional banquet style decor. We ordered a couple of dishes with appetizers. Portions were generous however both dishes were tepid and not hot. I wonder if because it was so quiet wait staff were not waiting for dishes when ready? We will be back to try again because the favors so good. Very traditional and authentic.

Terrible restaurant. First off, they overcharged us with the bill and had to go through every item one by one and we shed off $40 off the price tag. They lied about the quantity of the food saying that what we ordered was not enough so we ordered more. It actually ended up being too much. Every single dinner plate we ordered came in cold. The noodles, the pecking duck, the jumbo shrimps. They went back and reheated it but then it was just warm. You'd be lucky if you can catch a waiter to serve you.

Authentic Chinese. Like really authentic. Not sure it's for everyone. Staff and interior were nice and inviting. Fast service, and good appetizers but that's it.

I come to this restaurant over 14 years. The food is great and dim sum too. For dim sum, they try to put more and more dishes on the table for foreigners. You have to be firm if you don't want it.
