Exile has fantastic food. I went for the Burger Battle and was surprised at how delicious their entry was. It was a vegetarian/vegan burger, but stood up well to the other entries. Every time I'm there the servers are friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. I've never had a bad experience here. I'll definitely be back again. The entire hotel is music themed and the decor is quite unique. Great cocktails, too.

Really nice hotel, great staff and a nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Definitely one of the better hotels we've stayed at. Rooms are very modern, nice and clean, great beds and a nice bathroom. The staff is very hard working and friendly. The valet parking is a bonus. I've never seen the valet guy do everything from cleaning up lobby area to helping guests with anything they needed. Restaurant staff was just as impressive. Great location as well, minutes from the downtown. This will be our go to hotel whenever we are back in St John's.

Had the fishcake breakfast, with a side of moose sausages. Best fishcake I've had in the city. Perfectly salty, like they should be. Service and food were both excellent! Can't wait to go back again!

I was so excited that my boyfriend surprised me with a stay at the Jag for my birthday last weekend. Everything was going great until my friends left the hotel, and got stuck in the elevator. One of my friends has a bad fear of elevators, and had to be convinced to even take the elevator to get to the room in the first place. She had a panic attack in the elevator while it was stuck, which was for quite a while. The front desk was called, and they were not very helpful or reassuring in such a scary situation. When calling to complain to the front desk after the matter, they blamed the incident on my friends, insinuating that they were drunk and not making sense on the phone, and jumping in the elevator, which is absolutely ridiculous. We would never jump in an elevator, especially with someone who is petrified of elevators. I am amazed that hotel staff would blame a customer for something that is completely out of their control, especially something as traumatizing as this. I don’t feel as if the situation was handled very well, and I will not be recommending the Jag to anyone that I know, or staying there myself again.

I went to JAG for supper and it was amazing. I arrived late and the rest of my party had already ordered, but the staff managed to bring my food out at the same time. My tenderloin was cooked perfectly and everyone at the table seemed pleased with their meals. The staff were friendly and attentive and I look forward to my next visit!
