This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are nicely done. We stayed in the superior king suite. There was a fireplace and a jetted tub. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast in the Monastery Bistro and it was delicious. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Went there. 2 of 3 lights in bathroom didn't work. Ask for new bulbs. Weren't brought. Had to called back again for them couple hours later. Than Went to use jacuzzi and didn't work. Break was off had to call down again and wait for 2nd issue than after midnight heater/ac stopped working didn't call where had electric fireplace and was tired of have to call on issues. When checking out mentioned all issues. The girl told us she send free night for problems. Never received free night. For the price just not what expect. Room was really nice except issues. From my only experience staying there it hard to recommend any to go there especially at the cost.

The room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was just right. Unfortunately, I was told upon check in that a breakfast was included. When we arrived in your bistro we were asked about vouchers. I was never told or offered a voucher so we were told that our breakfast wasn't included. If I was informed properly upon check in I would have purchased any vouchers needed. As such I was to unhappy to pay for any breakfast. Besides this, the stay was wonderful.

This is a great hotel within walking distance of downtown St John's. We stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms were very quiet. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. Jackie was quick to look entertainment for us on George St. We turned on our TV one morning to find out it wasn't working properly. I mentioned it to Ashley at the front desk. She said if you have a moment, I will take a look at it right now. She found the previous guest had disconnected a cable so he could plug in his own device, she fixed it in just a few minutes.nnThe Bistro restaurant was great for breakfast. Great staff with great service.nnWe would definitely stay here again on a return visit.

I have no idea how this hotel is rated 5 stars . The TV didn’t work, the room was incredibly dated and depressing, there wasn’t even a fridge to put leftovers in… the staff were great and bistro breakfast was good but that’s the only plus. Please save your money and go elsewhere! A motel would’ve been better.
