Hotel is fantastic, with a great atmosphere in the lobby. Jordan was very helpful and so welcoming for our stay. Rooms are very cool with their very green approach to lighting systems and towel usage. Parking is tight and limited for oversized vehicles.
Stayed here for three nights while on vacation. Check-in was prompt, friendly and informative. Rooms were a bit smaller than I expected, but clean and quiet nonetheless. Guest wifi was down when I first checked and so slow when I eventually connected that I gave up and used data. The hotel café made great coffee and pastries. Easily walkable from many St. John's attractions. Careful if parking on site, I've never seen a smaller underground garage.
We loved our stay at The Alt in St. John's.nService was great. Rooms were modern, clean and well designed.nThe cafe provided a few breakfast options and great coffee and croissants.nThe restaurant Terre was exceptional.nWe had great weather and were able to sit by the pier and watch ships in the harbor while enjoying our coffee.nThe location is waking distance to the various shops, pubs and other amenities.nI would happily stay there again.
Second time I've stayed at this Alt hotel, and the 3rd time I've used them.nnI really like this hotel chain, the staff are super friendly when you check in, I really liked the hand written note in my room welcoming me back as well.nnWell laid out, well appointed comfortable rooms.nnLocation is excellent, nothing I want was really more than a 10 minute walk away.nnI'm a huge fan of the chain, they're my go-to hotel option when I'm in Canada.
Beautiful views when booking the rooms facing the harbor, super friendly staff! Justin at the front desk is such a delight to speak with. Great cafe in the lobby and tons of space to relax or work. Easily walk to many amazing restaurants including the one in the hotel.
