Stayed there with my family for few days and was really impressed! The hotel is really beautiful. The rooms were clean and nice. Staff was really friendly and made sure we had everything we need! The view from the room was wonderful! Location is by the lake which is really nice, I spent hours sitting by it reading. If you're looking for a simple but cozy hotel to spend few days in this is the perfect option!
This was our first time staying at this hotel and it won’t be the last. My husband describes it as a mullet: business in the front and party in the back. The entrance is very unassuming but the backyard views are phenomenal. The staff here are incredible; they pour their hearts into everything they do. The fitness facilities are lacking a bit. I’m not sure why they would have two upright bikes. I know the space is tight but I was really hoping for a treadmill or stairclimber. The beds are also very soft and lumpy. They are most likely in need of new mattresses at some point. But the extra special touches make up for any negatives: complimentary breakfast, afternoon cookies and tea, and a hot tub and sauna to end the day. It’s a hotel that feels like a home, and that’s the kind of heart that ensures a returning guest. Thank you so so much.
Our stay with our dog was very relaxing as the staff were very welcoming and the room was well prepared for the dog. He appreciated the treats and his own dog bowl and towel. It was easy to take our breakfast to our patio so that he was not left alone. The breakfast was also fresh with a wide choice of options. Definitely a good place to visit with or without pets.
We loved our stay at the Inn on Long Lake. Resort vibes right in the middle of Nanaimo. Access to water sports like paddle boarding, and kayaking. Can feed fish right off the dock. Service was excellent and staff were always checking in on our experience. We were given adventure kits and snacks for the family when we arrived. There is a complimentary coffee bar and snacks available. Would 100% stay here again. Made for a lovely family getaway.
We stay at the Inn in Long Lake to recover after surgery. This property was absolutely perfect. The staff went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Being able to sit and look at the lake both from our suite and along the water was so peaceful.nnThe grounds are amazing with walkways, docks with seating, benches along the shore and outdoor tables with umbrellas by the bbq. Common areas were immaculate and well maintained. There was a coin laundry available.nnOur room was immaculate and we had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We had daily housekeeping when needed. It was comfortably decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was extremely well maintained.nnWe loved our stay and would definitely stay here again if we return to Nanaimo.
