Nice and clean..great continental breakfast. Managers and staff are super friendly. It's an old motel so don't expect luxury. It's built on a hill so there are stairs if you are in above rooms. Two flights down to breakfast. Small rooms..some minor issues like my toilet rocked on the floor and sink was drippy. Still it's decent for someone on a budget.

Nice n small n cozy. And great service and spotless rooms. Tv a little small but overall I'd recommend this place to anyone coming to Nanaimo

This clean and quiet. Comfortable. Free breakfast. Located 1 min from getting off ferry at Departure Bay Friendly front desk. Will stay again.

OK well this Johnny guy, below me in the reviews, has comments that describe a lot of crappy motels in Nanaimo but NOT this one, he is clearly confused. This motel is very clean, well maintained with wonderful owners. The motel is older, as are almost all the motels in Nanaimo but the owners have done an excellent job in updating rooms with new beds, bedding, TV's and more. A wonderful breakfast each morning and on site laundry. The grounds are well manicured and maintained and it is a safe quite area. All but 3 units face off the main road so minimal road noise. Children playing in park next door is louder than any traffic. John is in no way describing this motel correct.

Very comfortable room. Excellent food at the restaurant next door. All customers are given a 10%discount to eat there. Beautiful view from our room. Downside road traffic noise early in the morning.
