Exceptional lunch buffet on a Saturday afternoon. Nothing too fancy, just quality Indian/Bengali comfort food including naan, chicken makhani, beef and lamb curries, vegetable curries, salad, and gulab jamun. Tailored to the American palate, India Palace does a great job making their buffet items delicious and accessible although a bit simple compared to Hydrebadi biriyani houses, for example. Nonetheless, solid food that left me feeling full and satisfied. I hope to be back to try more of their menu.
Too expensive for the garbage, the white rice not cooked was hard, biryani is a fried rice?? With cut chicken breast. terrible rendition too much cinnamon and red chili. The puri so thick it did not cook. Greasy and doughy threw them away. The Dal or curry for the puri so thick with vegetables looks like American vegetable soup. Every recipe has too many frozen green peas in the recipe, biryani, curry and samosas. This is a terrible, barely Indian food. Ps stop dumping red food coloring in the chicken LeGS it doesn't make it taste better.
Superb Indian cuisine. I havnt eaten in the restaurant but every time I place an order for pick up, the food is made to order and tastes phenomenal. Love it!Food: 5/5
Went to the restaurant a little bit after 8PM. Place was open until 10. After I was seated they started putting up all the chairs around me. I ordered. It took a long time to just get a glass of water. I ordered tea as well, took forever. I asked for a 2nd glass and it took 15 minutes. I actually had to walk back to the kitchen area and ask about it. I was told "we are still microwaving it" What? Then some guys from outside started dragging in a blue hose, apparently were going to do some carpet cleaning. Restaurant should have closed early for this, or at least informed guests. Again no one was around when I was finished and ready to pay. I went up to the register most India palaces will bring you a bill then take your card and stood around, and eventually I rang the bell. Server showed up, I asked for my bill. He said he wasn't going to give me my bill until I paid. How does that even make sense. He just thought I should hand over my credit card and he would be allowed to charge me whatever he wanted and only then would I see it.
Excellent quality food and the people here are friendly. I like the buffet food here. Also, there is halal food available here so, I will visit it again when I arrive in Minneapolis l.
We dined in and the restaurant was very quiet but the people coming in to pick up take out was very consistent. The staff was very friendly and made helpful recommendations and the food was great! Our party tried everything from scallop dishes to chicken, shrimp and goat items. We all shared and there was not one item I wouldn't order again. We'll definitely be back!
The food AND service was great! I brought a friend here today. She really liked it. I never had a bad experience here. I LOVE this Indian food. Remember everyday won't be perfect. THUMBS UP!

This place has really good service and the food was amazing. We ordered the dinner for 2 and the amount of food brought to the table was more than enough. The food flavors especially the meat curry was exceptional. 10/10 would come back to this restaurant
We ordered "family style" and shared. That is most certainly the way to go with so many wonderful choices on their menu. Word of caution when choosing medium heat level. I like spicy food but this was a little over the top for medium. Not any reason to ever discourage going here cuz the flavors were outstanding.
