After an incredible first time experience with my partner I can say that this Y just feels like home! Bustling with tons of activities and great facilities it is my favorite YMCA to come to in Erie County. It felt accepting, diverse, and family oriented.
Great place for the whole family. All ages work out here also. Top of the line equipment, pool, sauna...it's all here!

Ok. The gym looks great and has several options. The children play area is great. As a new costumer I feel that it could have been friendly show you the installation and give all the info. I had to keep asking for more info each time
One of the cleanest gyms I've ever been to and the staff is extremely helpful. If you want to get a good workout and not be judged and actually get what you want out of a gym I recommend here. The childcare is also superb and the pools are one of the cleanest ones I've ever seen in a gym. Highly recommend.
I like the facility first and foremost. The pool is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly. The Swim Classes work well with our schedule, the classes are small and manageable allowing the student to get the attention he/she needs to learn. The Swim Instructors are great! They are knowledgeable, and attentive.
There is a diverse set of activities and classes for all ages. We love Body Pump and physical training with Tara. The free weights room is excellent. My 2 year old loves the beginners swimming program. The cleaning people are always working hard and it shows. Lastly, fellow members are courteous and friendly, which can really brighten your day. As you can see, becoming members of the YMCA has far exceeded my family’s expectations!
I called about the youth program to try to get my two children in about two weeks ago. I was told that all calls are filtered to one individual that handles this program. I did not hear back for a few days so I called again and was told the same thing. They took my message and said that they would try to have that person call me the same day. I did not get a call. I called again and asked to speak to somebody because the person in charge of the program was not returning phone calls. They said that she was not on vacation but is busy. I again left a message. After a couple more days I called back and that person was still unavailable. We found a different program for my children to get into but it would have been nice to at least get a call back to see if there was availability in this program and to obtain more information. It is very clear that the individual handling this program needs more assistance to run the program efficiently. Enrollment begins with phone calls. If you cannot answer calls, how can you continue enrollment?
We've been members here for almost 2 years. I go almost every day with my husband. It's always clean, there's tons of machines, the classes are really a ton of fun. The instructors are friendly and so are the staff at the front desks. The locker rooms are clean the water fountains are clean and the floors are always clean. If you want to place to get fit without feeling like you're in a meat market this is the place for you.
