Story

Dosas are crepes made of grounded and fermented rice and urad dal, when cooked they are golden and crisp on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. They are naturally gluten-free. Fillings for these beautiful crepes can be vegan, vegetarian or non-vegetarian. We also serve curries and rice, Biriyani, rotis and parathas, desserts and more. Fully licensed. Easy access, friendly people who believe that you may walk in a stranger but when you leave you will always be a part of our family at House od Dosas.

To start with, I'm happy that they served me inside a day. They value their assistance while placing an order that they can quickly pick up. I haven't reviewed the masala dosa and alu govi parata that I ordered before. It tasted well and was served nicely. Now, they regularly made the beef biryani that I ordered in a hurry They have good service. But, I had higher expectations because my primary reason for ordering was the beef biryani. Although there are numerous tiny bits of beef, they are all incredibly tight and have a ruby feel. The beef is really powerful. which disappoints me. I would have been happy if I could have given you a five-star rating, but for this reason, I will deduct two stars from beef.
Every time we drove by, we saw a long line outside this restaurant, so today we finally seized the opportunity to take the whole family there to try it out.nnOverall, the food was quite good, especially the flagship dish, the Indian flatbread, which was indeed great value for money. The only downside was that the Chilli Chicken we ordered at the end was smelly for some reason. We immediately informed the staff, and they promptly refunded us. Suddenly, I thought that if the chicken had been cooked together with curry, we might not have noticed the smell, and that killed my appetite instantly.nnAs for the dessert after the meal, a small box of betel nuts was intriguing. It was my first time trying betel nuts, and after chewing them, my mouth was left with a lingering fragrance, just like after brushing my teeth.nnThe service was excellent, and for six people, the total bill came to over CAD120, making it a restaurant with great value for money. Definitely worth a try.
Super yummy food! I think they must have been understaffed the night we went because it took a long time to order and they mixed up our dessert order. Overall great food tho so still a great spot! Individual gendered washrooms.
The Missus and I along with the boys have tried the House of Dosas a couple of times. We have always found the service reasonably quick and the food deliciously prepared. It can be a bit chaotic on $5.99 Dosa Mondays but it adds to the ambience. We have tried various dosas along with chicken 65 and vegetable pakora. All flavourful and appetizing.
I appreciate the excellent service provided, however, I must express my disappointment with both the quality and presentation of the food. Additionally, the high price point does not align with the overall experience.
