Hotel Zero1

For me, an important quality in a hotel is being able to transform the room however you need for your stay - whether you're looking to sleep in late and enjoy vacation or just have a place to rest quickly between your adventures. I had a lovely 5 night stay at Zero1, and felt at home during my visit. The decor is modern, the bed comfortable, and the room had several kitchen amenities (fridge, microwave, kitchen sink in addition to the bathroom sink). There were a few small hiccups (there was no power when I checked in on my first night but that impacted other parts of the city too, and the staff was very calm, friendly and pleasant during the hour without power). And my one issue is that the elevator seems to retain the smell of whatever was just in it a little too well (smoker was just in the elevator? Someone just ordered sushi? You will know when you get in) 🙃 Really though, I had a fantastic stay, and I look forward to returning next time I'm in Montreal.

I went for a birthday dinner and the staff was really nice and managed to get me a plate even if the kitchen was closing!! The food tastes amazing with big portions! Totally worth the price. The hotel in general is really nice and makes their guests feel special

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. We showed up in the middle of the night completely stressed after an emergency with our Air BnB, and had booked a room with them online before we arrived for the wrong day. The staff were so friendly, generous, and helpful with next to no questions asked other then "how can we help?" Not to mention the room, atmosphere, and the lounge were spectacular. Good prices for a hotel in this area, anytime I come back to Montreal I will come back to Hotel Zero1. I can safely say they saved our vacation from catastrophe.

Clean room. Unique style. Dark and mysterious vibe. The location is right in the middle of the art district. And at the cusp of Chinatown. Perfect for events in walking distance, or a cab ride of no more than 10 min, for nightlife 🌃

0/5 stars no question. Do not ever stay at Hotel Zero1, here's why: Room is disgustingly dirty: - blood stain on my towel - orange/red stains all over my bed - other people's hair in my bed - cobwebs hanging from the ceiling - shower head was filthy Cheaply built and unfinished: - unpainted drywall and paint splotches on the curtains - I could tear down the place with my bare hands, everything is clearly very cheap - light switch in my room didn't work - hallways are unfinished and extremely dusty Hotel restaurant unsanitary: - half of the plates they used were still visibly dirty - the complimentary "breakfast" was non fresh fruit with granola and white wonder bread - juice tasted like syrup - within one minute I walked out Considering the price of this hotel I would never recommend anyone to stay here, it's not even in a great area. It looks deceivingly nice on the website, don't be fooled. This is coming from someone who has never bothered writing a review before. Cheers
